Only just saw your response, but yeah, I caught that in the chat too. Insaynne has stepped it up big time to take those sets (apparently that score is the total of two sets, Insaynne won both, one was FT70 and the other was FT30) even against one of the two cheapest teams in the game.

Nah it was just a FT100.

I think a major BO problem happens because guys have armpit hair and if you use a typical deodorant it just rubs over the hair and doesn't really absorb in, at least I know I had that problem.

I promise I'm not an Old Spice representative haha, but I highly recommend this deodorant because it absorbs into the armpit better because of the grating at the top and more softer kind of substance.

Wait some guys dont shave their armpit hair? That's fucking disgusting. That shit soaks up armpit sweat and stores it.

I have trimmed mine down so it's more manageable but I'm definitely not shaving it all off. Doing that only immediately results in feeling like less of a man.

big dumb idealistic rant of mine crossposted from the "what genre makes you rage" thread
feel free to tell me i should give up the dream because it will never happen and that you don't want it to happen because you don't care about online players experiences and are afraid this would negatively impact the live tournaments you don't go to

I think the problem with this is the same problem that stuff like this has in shooters; it takes away from the main objective of the game.

One of the most annoying things about COD now is the amount of players that don't play the game and just farm points to unlock weapons. I remember in one iteration people would just go for kills and not die instead of playing the actual mode, even if it resulted in a loss, because they would gain more EXP from playing that way than actually playing the game.

I don't think fighting games need those distractions from the core game honestly. I'm sure something can be done, but I don't thin progress bars are that something

I think showing it at the end of matches only, makes it better. I always disable it in-game when playing Darkstalkers Collection or something since it's pretty distracting.

But in a fighting game you won't get unmotivated players like that as teammates, so they're only free wins for you, so how is it hurting you if they care less about Win or Lose and are trying to land 50 of X move or win the match without throws to get the bonus XP to get a new hat for Ryu?

Meh the stream is mostly for entertainment, for Evo and majors they can have boring ass Magus on so he can tell you why so and so character sucks and how they can't win.

For weeklies I prefer some style and comedy.

I don't mind the intricate stats, and I wish they would get more in depth and presented to the user better. I don't like how the Capcom releases do them, with them on the side of the screen though. But that is not going to happen with HD games though. I would assume.

I would be nice if the stats show up post match screen, and there was like a player profile page where all the in depth stats where, like total overall, and per character, how you performed against other characters and stuff like that.

Me personally, I don't look at stats as something to level up or anything, just a representation of what I have been doing and how I have performed. I like looking at the numbers (I love sports stats as well).

As an aside, that's why I can't understand people who boost or ragequit or whatever. Your record doesn't show how you really performed when you do this. What's the point.

I just tuned into the stream to hear the blow up and Sp00ky said Man of Steel was godlike, so I'm unsure if this NLBC is canon.

Between this and you playing blazblue, it's almost like you don't like fun.

I don't get it. You can commentate and have fun. Look at Yipes. But shouting dumb shit nonstop over and over with no relevance is bad. I'm sorry BlazBlue is too hard for you to have fun with ;) Kokonoe exist just for you!

Man of Steel is the best live action DBZ movie.
This much is true. I'm waiting for the proper fan edit to fully realize this before it's "godlike" though.

Do people just turn their brains off when Lee Chung actually commentates or what? He doesn't just scream obscenities, and I quite like him when he's being straightforward when commentating and bouncing back and forth between reflective and hype.

It's not hurting me. It's boring.

Playing against people that don't want to learn or win is boring

Fighting Games are more about self improvement than just winning or losing. and no one is getting better playing people that aren't even trying. They're not getting their bonuses on me and I'm beating someone who's handicapping themselves for unlocks. Who's having fun?

Apparently some WWE wrestler was on the Games Underground stream yesterday (MA Stream) playing some games with Lucky D

I haven't touched BB since CT being honest and I don't really hate the game, was just a jab.

Lee Chung can commentate just fine in real matches. He has energy and knowledge, but it's not like every single match needs to be given a crazy amount of attention.

Sp00ky's issue wasn't about people being hype or fun, his issue was with people not calling matches and focusing on the chat. I mean he brought up Rush Hour as a good commentary team and they're the poler opposite of Magnus in regards to their style.

It doesn't matter, when someone repeats stuff over and over the brain remembers that the most. It doesn't help that I personally don't find him funny when he does try it, more along the lines of obnoxious.

YOU STOOOOOPID sounds like something a damn elementary kid who got the mic would say. So yes my problem with Lee Chung is that he sounds like a damn school kid on the mic when he gets hype.
I don't really care when he BSes at a local because it's a local.
Pretty much locals don't matter much, but doesn't mean I can't find it obnoxious still.

Lee Chun is at his best when his co-commentator talks about the technical intricacies going oin in the match and he offers his color commentary.

Yeah, I like Spooky and Lee Chung together commentating together. I don't personally "hate" any commentators, but there's a certain sort of dude I prefer hearing on the mic at majors. Just some random local? Who cares, it's better to have fun, especially if things are feeling same-old-shit.gif.

Although, there is something to be said about maybe practicing moderation.
