Looks pretty awesome in the teaser. I'm so hyped for SDCC, I'm really bummed that I am going to miss it this year since this is the first SDCC that I've been seriously collecting. It would have been awesome to see these up close this year.

Agreed. I'm definitely hopeful based on the teaser. I think it's gong to be diecast, but perhaps that's not such a bad thing here. I'm jealous of the people hitting SDCC as well, since it's an awkward trip for me in the UK. At least we should get pics fairly quickly.

I cancelled some orders with them when I moved to other stores, but there's a few left I don't want to risk missing. Asuna was among the casualties when I switched. Shame because she turned out well, but I probably had too many figures ordered anyway

Speaking of risers and displaying your collections, how does everyone go about it? Do you pay specific attention to details like keeping characters from the same series together? Are you ok with mixing different scales on a shelf? Try to go for a certain theme?
I currently don't have enough display cases, but will when I move into my own place in a few months. I'm thinking of how I want everything to be displayed. I currently have well over 100 figures in their boxes waiting until I move. My current ones a mix match of scales, and I feel like it really clashes sometimes.

One of the first things I looked for when I started buying figures. You're right, there's nothing good. I would have bought Sousuke, Kaname and maybe Tessa if there were options.

Huge fan of this guy's work (and missed out on Invisible Woman! Impossible to find at a remotely sane price) so naturally I'm also really looking forward to this figure. I wish there were more based on his illustrations because they translate so well in that form. And yeah, that poster is totally badass.
EDIT:
Aahhh saw this on MFC a few days ago...even though I don't have the funds for it lately garage kits have been fueling a desire to learn how to properly paint a kit because there are too many gems out there that never see a standard release. There was also a gorgeous garage kit of Vega from SF.
