Silent Hill statues are hard to come by so it's all premium stuff. The Nurse and Pyramid Head are around the same prices in Japan so at least the pricing is consistent.

The nurse is $99-$104. The Pyramid Head statue I paid the full $120 for, yeah and I had no issues doing so considering the quality of it.
I'll pay the premium for a premium product. That face sculpt doesn't scream premium to me. It sort of kills the rest of the statue which is ashame cause I'm 100% the audience for Silent Hill merchandise.

I.e. I wish I had waited for the price drop for the figure/the figure was soooo not worth the price/should have waited for the rerelease.
I shall start buying saying I should not have paid a "Premium Price" for the Zero Suit Samus, Figma Skyward Sword Link, and D-Arts Izanagi Ookami -_-;

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to her! I currently own the Original Ver. of Black Rock Shooter as well as Dead Master.
Thankfully [or unfortunately, to some] Insane Black Rock Shooter was delayed from August to September. Given that my August is already expensive [that is, if Belldandy with Holy Bell isn't delayed] this lessens the strain somewhat.
Also, there's nothing wrong with Katsuragi opening her shirt and letting her "life" breathe some. Nothing at all!
Yeah the gold saw one is gorgeous, damn!

Does anyone have the DC Bombshells on preorder? I absolutely love what I saw of the Batgirl and Black Canary versions, so I'm definitely going to get those but I'm debating on the rest. My instincts tell me that I'm going to regret not having the whole set, but $100 a pop plus shipping and tax sounds absurd for 5+ figures.

It is. Generally, when it comes to big lines of figures that are pricey like that, I try to avoid buying any if I'm going to feel compelled to get the whole set. It's one thing to get in on the ground floor where they release like, two per year. But the Bombshells line seems to have them being released constantly.

Yeah, I'd pass, then. Especially with the shitty editorial decisions DC has been making constantly. Don't reward them by buying all of these things.
EDIT: Is anyone still waiting on a bishoujo Kitty? Amazon has a few retailers with Amazon fulfillment offering her for about $45.
Still too expensive for that pretty little dwagon. The rest of the figure is blah.

$40+ is the typical Nendo price with preorder discount. They tend to get marked up depending on popularity and rarity.
I'm guessing her light-up eyes also have something to do with her price.

It was one I already had(from a comic shop) but im trying to find a real Rinoa and the bootleg seems really common.
Someone should mod these with a solar panel, so they will automatically light up when it's dark. Having the illuminated eyes is a cool feature, but how often are you actually going to switch it on?
Can you take a pic of it? I'm curious what PA bootlegs look like.

The real version should be a bit taller than Selphie and the bootleg's coat is really glossy.
the necklace and rings are huge compared to the original.
Left=Real Right=Bootleg bootleg is orange ish with no paint on the scar or lips
Left=Bootleg Right=Real hair is a little translucent on the real figure

The hair is amazing. It feels like real hair as opposed to course "string" feel of Black Widow or Baby Doll. It's the star of the show. I think the face looks quite good in person. Hathaway is difficult to capture and they've done a pretty fine job of it. The mask is a bit of a bitch to get on. I'd recommend not bothering to unsnap the back. Just put the front on her nose and gently slide the back onto her hair until its snug. Getting the snap back in place was frustrating!
I'll have some posed (and better) shots later tonight. Alongside the DKR Batman and Bane.

I always thought that was a nice figure, didn't know it had such a high after market price till now. Why does the old stuff I like have to be stuff that has already sky rocketed in price T_T
Sweet figure. I've seen a couple people do an eyeliner mod for her masked face recently and it looked a lot more life-like. But if you plan on displaying her with the mask there is no need for that.
