Not an option for people not in the US T_T, I'll probs buy that Chun Li but will go with HLJ if they are stocking her.
Best do what I do and bite only on series you like, if you go down the road of "Oooh I like that figure but don't know what it's from" then yeah will be too late for you lol

One thing to keep in mind about amiami is that if you order it, you bought it. They'll usually let you slide on a cancellation now and then, but if you jerk them around too much, they'll just ban you. As I've said before, its a good idea to approach business transactions with them the same way you would with the actual mafia. Serious business. If its important for you to be able to cancel an order, just pay a few $$$ more and order from hlj.com...

I'll probably bite the bullet on the AmiAmi pre-order. I'll get her like, a month earlier that way, and I have 7th Dragon Miku shipping in January anyhow, so I'll just piggyback her on that.

Based Kotobukiya Bishoujo Chun Li!!!
While Im still not a fan of the pose they chose, I do like the way that they made her dress flap provide more crotch coverage than the artwork than the art work (at the expense of looking like its been placed at an odd angle precisely for that reason).
Her nose is also oddly long Ive been seeing this lately on some of the Bishoujo sculpts. Harley Quinn has the same issue.
All that said, she looks spectacular painted. #DemThighs!
I am crossing all of my fingers and toes that theyll come out with a Juri figure. Best new character design theyve introduced in years, and shes been practically ignored as far as merchandise is concerned while they mostly re-tread classic characters.

The Chun-Li is really disappointing, that face is just bad looking. I really expected better from the prototypes. I'm really starting to think that Kotobukiya sold more than they thought and then half-assed every release after the first few.

I don't think it looks as bad as most people think. It's not nearly as bad as the face on that early Xiaoyu sculpt.

mm yeah, it's not terrible and I'll probably still pick it up. I just find it disappointing in comparison to the rest of the sculpt. Though, I don't know what it looks like at other angles and it could possibly be better than what I see from the released pictures.

Certainly a possibility. Especially with bishoujos. Elektra was a prime example of this. I wasn't crazy about her from the pics I saw online, but when it was actually in front me, I liked her a lot. I hear that's also the case with Storm
I can't believe Elektra maintained her low price for so long. I think her base is pretty cool and the sculpt looks really good.

I am now the proud owner of a Bishoujo Huntress statue! I got a little nervous inserting the pole (hurr hurr) into her hand. Felt like I was going to break it. Looks fantastic next to Power Girl. Still, I think Power Girl may be my favorite of the Bishoujos line. Not only does the style fit her character but the pose they chose really captures the swagger of her character.
I know what you mean. It's been fun collecting these statues and the people in this thread have been really cool. Could be the start of many wallet breaking purchases.

I'll say this for Kotobukiya, their figures seem to be sturdier than pretty much anything else out there. And they're more affordable as well.
Grats! Now grab Batgirl (black version) and Black Canary (should come out before the end of the year) for the Birds of Prey trio!

Batgirl (any color) is a tall order to fill at this point. You can get her, sure. But good luck finding her for under $150.
As for Canary, we haven't even seen a sculpt yet, so I'd be surprised if she made it out before the end of the year.
Most definitely. For being less than $60 they feel incredibly detailed and sturdy.

Yeah, you're not getting out, sorry. The most you can hope for is that you'll be able to limit yourself to bishoujos.
Of course, that was my intention originally as well.
I can't begin to express how much I hate figures with joints in general. They totally kill the look for me.
I like being able to pose them. Static figures or statues are no fun
They can look nice but I like there to be a balance between what it looks like and what you can do with it.
is Batgirl rare? I have the black one still sealed. Maybe I should sell it haha
Lots of poseable figures are fun to mess with and take photos with.

PA Solidus is so ridiculously overpriced. Thankfully the prices in several retailers dropped a lil after release. Probably not that popular. I also read he has some issues with the build.
