I was very, VERY close to pulling the trigger on that Mitsuru figure. Like "all of my payment information filled out" close. I think that Megahouse Amazon figure is going to be my first non-Bishoujo figure though.
Yeah I checked out of world's finest before that happened. I wasn't digging it especially compared to her previous solo book.

Basically I have this Glorious Golden Bender figure (from 2006 SDCC). I'm thinking about selling it but obviously I want to get the most from it, just wondering what would be the best way of going about it? Maybe another forum I could go to or a better place than Ebay to sell it if such a thing exists.
I'm in the UK and the figure isunboxed, but obviously I'll send it to whoever would pay the most! Cheers guys.

I would be wary on ebay for something so rare since ebay ALWAYS sides with the buyer and never with the seller. Somebody can just do a one and run and you would have nothing even if you insured it.
Maybe check around to see how much it goes for then sell it on B/S/T thread.
Yeah I was assuming there's be a better place or forum to sell it on than Ebay, never been a big fan of selling on there.

You'll probably have to wait until release to score a chance to get her. Even then, this is the first time I've seen pre-orders for a figma close so early, so I don't know how much stock retailers will actually have left to sell.

.Check good smile companies page. They still have them but their price is actual retail price without discount so you may want to wait. It does come with an exclusive base though (you can easily make one by yourself though)

Have you seen the Big Chief Studios line of Doctor Who figures? They use real cloth etc, and are really nice looking. Seems really hard to get a hold of most of them though, perhaps for the best

To be honest, if it were available through regular means and not via proxies [for those outside Japan], I'd probably be tempted to order one. However, that's a lot more work than I'd prefer to do for something that's not a figure.
I'm about to watch it after I get through Steins;Gate. Thankfully I don't really like any of the character designs in that show yet. The show honestly feels kind of boring.

As I said earlier, I enjoyed the first half for the most part but the later half was a disappointment.
How do you not like Okabe and Kurisu!? How far into it are you? It starts off a bit slow/confusing initially but it really picks up later on. I really enjoyed it, definitely one of my favorites of the last several years.
It's...okay. It's worth trying to see if you like it, but the second half of Season One kind of destroys my enjoyment of the series as a whole. I hated seeing how they treated Asuna in her characterization. ~_~

First half is pretty good if you can get over the improbable premise. Second half is pretty terrible unless you're into bro/sis-con. Even then, everything you liked about Asuna is stripped away in the 2nd half.
I picked it up for about 135 including shipping on eBay.
Wanted to pick that up too, but seeing that the new Black and White Harley is coming out, decided to hold off. I saw the same designs for Poison Ivy and Zatanna, considering it.

From what I've heard, yes. It goes up through the end of the Fairy Dance book. It also includes some side-stories that were written later but take place chronologically during the Aincrad book. It's a big part of why the pacing in episodes approx. 3-8 (from memory) is so fucked up and weird. It's like what does this shit or these characters have to do with anything? It's because they are backstories for characters who become important later apparently.
Yen Press announced at Japan Expo earlier this summer that they're going to localize the light novels.
oh really, will the localization have the infamous sex chapter cause that was super graphic yet oh so fun to read. It was even removed from the translation sites but you can still find it elsewhere. That chapter is full on porn. My favorite part that had me rolling on the floor was when Kirito shot "2 years worth of semen" into Asuna. I just about died.
Edit: not a spoiler cause the Author actually had this chapter removed afaik cause he was so embarrassed about writing it when SAO started to become popular

Doesn't seem any more embarrassing than the rest of show. I would have left it in. Now we run the risk of running out of self-insert fanwank-level material to place in between the poorly directed action sequences
