Man I just realized that I've been sitting with Cloud in my party since the beginning of this festival spamming the orbs/material stuff, and he is damn near level 80 and Mako Might still hasn't dropped. It's not one of those "FFVII Realm Only" materia is it? Or does the fact that I'm wearing the Advent Children costume mess up getting the materia?

Yeah Locke is a lock (ha!) I think since the Valiant Knife SSB is so good. I guess to phrase this a different way: are the Sephiroth and Hope SSBs good enough to buy their MC2s for assuming I don't have any other SSB or notable relics for anyone else? I'm guessing yes but just looking for confirmation since I'm missing a lot of characters and don't have a lot of lodes so I don't want to waste any.

My last lode I think is the real question; is it worth buying Gilgamesh's for his utility even though I have no relics for him or should I save it in that case?

Absolutely yes to Gilgamesh. He slots into every realm so easily due to his massive equipment selections (which is the most important thing to me, Sephy has problems if you don't have a good Dagger /Katana for the realm in question) , provides AoE through Fire Blossom /Flashing Blade and can hit weaknesses with Dragoon Jumps. Super tanky, good default SB (which unfortunately is useless for Shout teams).

Everyone made a good suggestion for Yuffie, my issue is do I go with her for an extra aoe cure or Zidane for his SSB offense damage.

Zidane SSB is not very good because it removes scream. So if you use it as RW for example its a problem.

Yeahhhh, that's why I was leaning towards Gilgamesh if anything, I was honestly bummed not to get any of his relics during SSBfest :/

The only Katanas I have are the two FF7 ones, and I have a decent selection of daggers, would you say Gilgamesh maybe over Sephiroth if anything? I'm going through the RM3s now, but if Tidus' RM3 is good maybe I'll take that instead and go Locke/Hope/Gilgamesh/Tidus or something. I think Locke and Hope are locks though, I'm not a big fan of Hope but that SSB seems pretty solid, and having a ranged attack caster at 80 is never a bad thing.

Edit: Yeahhhhhhhhhhh Tidus' RM3 does seem pretty good, hmmm.

I was using the official strategy site, does not everyone have a 3rd RM or is that site just missing some of them? I'm going through the characters I can buy MC2s for and some/a lot of them don't have a 3rd RM listed, only the first two?

Yea, he's at level 79, just seems like a lot of random battles for it to not have popped by now. But RNG gonna RNG I guess.

I'm not that guy with the Yuffie relic, just stating that I have one and will still be using it. It's not bad. My other best weapon Is Bartz's Brave Blade that has the same issue.

I have a ton of medica SBs and Zidane and Auron are the only offensive SSBs I have currently. I have a couple of three hit SB's like Beatrix, Tifa, Sabin, and Edgar though they can't use thief's raid.

Yeah if you want to use TR then yes Zidane is the best option for you now.

Even though Zidane's SSB will cause him to lose a bit of str in shout meta I'd not too concerned, unless the ultimates massively ramp up in difficulty soon I've not really struggled with anything since Vossler.

I just want it to be over at this point lol. I'll be bummed of course if I don't get any of the good relics of course, but I'm mostly hoping for good drops since I love FFT so I'd want the character relics anyway. The characters being great is just a bonus!

I only have enough for a 100 gem pull and and two 11 mythril pulls so we'll see what happens I guess. If FFT runs until the 15th or 16th I can do a gem pull or two, but won't have any free spending money until then.

I got both soul breaks, both super soul breaks, the generic dagger and a FFVIII 5* armour.
