They ran "poorly", but much better than any other release. I'd hope they are trying to do better with -3, but even if they can't I'd still like a PC release.

Check your CPU usage. Those frame drops have nothing to do with your GPU. I can hold 60FPS on a 670 in that game with an overclocked i5. The only place I get dips is in the overcrowded Revenants Toll when I actually have a queue to log in.
 
Cool. Will buy, Delayed the purchase of the console version due to a wait for sale, but now Im just gonna buy the PC version.

Will buy if 60fps. Seem to remember reading that upping the frame rate for PS4 was too much work, so I'm not holding my breath.

Oh jeez. I haven't started my copy of Type-0 yet but I think I'll wait to hear if that's getting patched.

Im not the best person to answer this since I liked FFXIII...but

Pros:
  • Combat
  • Characters
  • World
  • Story (however see con)

Cons
  • Story (too much important pieces are not even shown during a playthrough and must be found in a history book menu)
  • Motion Blur (Holy Balls is it bad)
  • NG+ Requirements (much of the world is level 50+, you will be 35 at end game)

Mixed:
  • Voice Acting (Some are good like Queen and Cinque, some are really bad)
  • Time Limits

Overall though I had a lot of fun with Type0

My Mac is a computer that can run Steam. It can not play many Steam games.
 
It sure took its sweet time but I'll finally be able to play this game, looking forward to it.

Now just get the FFXV announcement out of the way, no point in leaving the elephant in the room.

PC version should have the option to turn of motion blur but hopefully it'll be improved.

Many fans have been clamoring that the PS4/XBO version of FF-Type-0 needs to get patched ASAP due to them having liable feelings of nausea or disgust when experiencing the motion blur camera the game offers.

As one the Great mods from Neogaf (The biggest gaming forum on the universe) stated:

I'm still waiting on Lightning Returns, skipped it on PS3 because it would've been on PC by now. Hopefully XV is a simultaneous release, I'll be skipping that on PS4 if it isn't native res.

Are they seriously just making those changes for the Steam version only? They can't I dunno .. patch them into the console versions?

Seems ... odd.
 
I hope they patch the console version along with this. Motion blur didn't make the game unplayable for me, but it did make it a whole lot less fun to play. So it's not fun to see improved motion blur as a selling point of a game I bought full price a few months ago.
