And everything was for PC.

I think it's fair to say that non-handheld FF games will eventually come to PC. Sure, we got ports of older games, but we're now getting ports of games that aren't even that old.

Final Fantasy XV is next. Well, after Lighting Returns.

Well This mean we can finally see a super HD remaster in 4k 3D. I bet it will be a barebones port but will run super easy on even weaker systems since at its core it's still a PSP game

Mmm, now I've got to decide whether I'll ever play my PS4 copy, or wait for the PC version. <_<;;

Eh, slightly better visuals probably isn't worth it.

I want a proper port of IX so bad :(

Good concept/universe, meh gameplay, and already 3 adaptation... FF IV here I come...

Oh and better camera (again) SquEnix gonna SquEnix.

What about new games or at least FF XV / KH III?

It's like I'm actually reading Square Enix's facebook page!

I'm surprised at how few people are skeptical about how well the port-job will be. I mean, they have the PC version of FFIV: The After Years locked to 15 FPS during battles, even though it looks like something that could run on the original DS. Not to mention the sad state the XIII games have been in since their launch.
Yeah, I'll hold my breath. I'll keep an eye on it, but I'm not buying it if it turns out to run like shite.

Yep.
When they say more gfx options I fully expect them to only offer Resolution, Vsync and maybe some MSAA.
I still think that the game will be capped at 30fps and Motion blur to be disabled by editing the .ini files.

Although I wonder... is Episode Duscae coming with it ? :)

It wouldn´t make sense unless there´s a pc version of FFXV coming in the future.
I´m not saying it can´t happen but i think they don´t want to drop any hints until a few months after the console version release.

Hope springs eternal.

I'm just going to guess what two scenes you're talking about.

Spoilers, if you haven't played Type-0 turn back now.
1) Bahamut Zero (my favorite moment of the game)
2) Aria getting shot

The first is like one whole second long and it's impossible to really tell what's going on.
The second is a minor character getting shot and we know it's a red herring.

Other than that you see glimpses of some big enemies and other seemingly random imagery that you'll probably forget about once the game gets to PC, unless you have perfect recall. And a big chunk of the intro cinematic, so that's not really spoilery.

It's possible that SE will patch the console releases when they update the FFXV Episode Duscae. And that's due this month.
I guess being optimistic is one way to look at it but we all know how SE works, why keep an improvement patch a secret when your about to cannibalize console sells with a PC version that will probably(day one) be sold for half price.

I'll buy it to support more Japanese games on Steam but the game is a mess. I returned my PS4 version not just because of the technical issues but because the story is utter incomprehensible garbage.

The story's supposed to be a little mysterious, but it's far from incomprehensible.

I disagree somewhat. You need to play the game twice for more of the story to appear in the Crimson Codex and even that does not clarify some of the game's storyline angles. For those complaining about the FFXIII datalog....Type-0 has it beat.

I hated how many of auxiliary character's fates were left hidden behind the codex. Not to mention the roles of the Fal Cie, Lindzei, and Pulse.

Jesus, everytime I see new screenshots of this game it gets more and more detailed looking, they may as well just rebuild it from scratch for PS4/PC already.

"Let's just sharpen the textures,... wait lets throw in some PS3 Character models, WAIT NO LETS UP THIS TO PS4 MODELS"

Truly baffling, I'm not complaining though.

I have this game on PS4. I should have had this game on PSVita or some such. It doesn't feel like a console game to be honest and I haven't had the impetus to play it very far. Playing it next to FFXV and W3 made it seem to super unimpressive to be honest.

Makes sense to bring out on PC now considering it didnt do fantastic on current gen.

Japanese developers seem afraid to put anything with modern graphics on PC. It's almost like they know they'll fuck it up.
I'd love to know their excuse as to why they've not got FFXIV announced on PC yet.

You mean FFXV right ? :p
Lot of reasons I'd say. When it was revealed, they said they weren't crossing off such a release but that it would need a pretty high end PC. After that, they said that they'll think about it if they see fan demands (aka port begging). Now... we're left with FFXIII trilogy and Type-O HD. You can bet that FF Type-0 HD will be their test to see if a FFXV release is viable. The same goes for KH3. Both are developped on a DX11 environnement then downported to PS4/One, according to SE.
