Cool. It's an OK time waster with a fair bit of content.

Boy does it want to pry open your wallet though.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
So uhhh…. How is this? The screenshots always looked good to me.
Standard gatchapon game that's extremely light on actual content. There are a few "story missions" that have some dialogue, but the majority of the game revolves around battles. The battle system is dead simple - in fact the best strategy is to turn on auto-battle and bump the game speed up to 3x, and the game will automatically maximize your character's damage output while minimizing damage taken in such a way that it would be inhuman to do yourself.

The goal is to complete battles to level up your characters so that they're stronger (have higher "power numbers") so that you can take on more difficult challenges. You can draw (gatcha) for more powerful weapons which you then have to meticulously upgrade to become stronger than your current weapon - again all in service of increasing your power numbers. There is also a sphere-grid like character upgrade system where you can trade upgrade items for random small stat boosts for one character - again to get that power number to go up. Essentially, this is a menu-driven drug-wars type game dressed in Final Fantasy VII clothing.

As a retelling of FF7, it's kinda cute but truncates a lot, oftentimes to a comical degree. For instance, when you get to the Sector 7 pillar, all three of the characters who die are just there on the floor next to each other, as Cloud kneels by them one by one to have a dialogue.

As a game, it's a gacha-ass gacha game. So lots of grinding and baiting people into spending money. They literally launched with a summer event so you can get Tifa and Aerith swimsuits lol

Damn and here I was hoping it was just an actual remake of the original game on mobile. Should've known better.
