Just did the
boss. I'm disappointed, it took me 3 minutes for both battles, no healing required. :/

All right children, I've finally done it. Casino coin trophy GET.
And all without doing the chocobo races. It's entirely possible to win it from the slots only. Basically what I did was got 8,000 coins, made sure the slot was in the best mood possible... played for a bit manually, then taped the L1 button down and took a nap.
When I woke up... I had won almost 60K casino coins! Exited the slots and it gave me the trophyD
And so... my first Platinum trophy ever belongs to FFXIII-2... more so for that fact that it was ridiculously easy to get:

You could go for the Chocobo Races. It's slow but you're bound to get coins and not lose them.

Tame and level up a chocobo (level 45 gold chocobo is the most recommended), race them without betting and you get to advance to higher tier races if you win. If you get to the top, you can earn 60 coins, then 120, then 240, then so on per race.
I got lucky when I found him 3 straight times for the last round of questions. Other times I had to exit to the Crux and come back again hoping he'd spawn.

I'm doing this next. How do you know what monsters you don't have and need? If its listed that means you have them? What about the ones with the check mark. I have some without check marks. Does that mean I really don't have it?
Compare your bestiary to the one on gamefaqs or the guide is the only way really.
As for checkmarks, I don't know. Because I have them both on monsters I have and haven't tamed.

I think I read, you only need to have fought them for them to get into your log. But if you want its stats and drops, you need to use a librascope? I have the hat with the kill:libra on it. Still can't get the fragment for having them all?
I didn't fight all
The Adam Fel'Ce or whatever, I have the guide, so I knew when to "shout at hope"

I think the check mark means that you've discovered all of its stats, resistances etc.
The monsters you already have listed in the Bestiary are the ones you've already beaten before.. so you'll have to hunt down the ones which are missing from your Bestiary (these are the monsters which you have not versed before).
I'm using a monster FAQ to find out which monsters I'm missing and where.

Yeah, thanks. I think I know what I'm missing. The one from the spoiler tag in my last post, and special monsters. I haven't fought and beat one of those yet. I'm going after Don Tonberry right now, he is even a trophy if you befriend him. I have the Monster Collector skill too.
I did manage to kill a proto behemoth, but I don't see it listed under behemoths.

Yeah proto is listed under "Militarized Units".
I was lucky with
Adam since I had no idea which option to pick and ended up fighting them all.

Thank goodness! Those are a pain in the ass to fight, specially when they stand up, always murdered. I got lucky and got one down before he stood up.

Aside from that red battle outfit there's an Assassin's Creed one coming... nothing else announced right now though.
There is always that Ezio costume for Noel. Not sure if it'll be made available though.
How I wish there would be a Cloud/Tifa and Tidus/Yuna costume alts for Noel/Serah.
I don't think Square-Enix has figured out costume exploitation the way Namco Bandai has.

I'm with you here, I'm starting to realize this could be my favorite Final Fantasy ending in the series. It's just so original and well delivered. Loved every minute of it.
Nomura did not come to mind when looking at that. Not enough zippers and way too...I don't quite know what the word to use is...maybe loud?

Well... you want to get a mud frog and infuse a bunch into that including green chocobo, tonberry, mewmao, and some others... then infuse mud frog to chichu.
I'm part of the problem, I had like $6 in my SEN wallet which was just enough to buy the DLC
Noel's design as a whole is a rip off of Terra from KH BBS :x

I like Noel's standard design, except maybe for that t-shirt that is. I absotely dislike instead Serah's outfits (both of them) and Noel's second one. In games like this is when I miss Tetsuya Nomura's character design. His XIII's works were really great.
Nomura only designed the characters faces in both XIII and XIII-2. He had nothing to do with costume design.
Since Game.uk fucked up and canceled my pre-order I put in last October because they were out of stock of crystal edition, I need to order a copy again.
I have to decide between limited edition and normal edition+steelbook. I already have the Limited OST, so would the rest of the content of the Limited be worth it compared to getting the steelbook?

I can't help ya there. I've only infused 2 or 3 monsters during the 60 hours I've played. I don't really find the need for it as my monsters are pretty boss, or it's just because I don't want to part with all my beautiful monsters (except I threw away Chichu because I thought Mog would be able to catch him again!).
