Good gosh, this game's save data takes so long to transfer to a memory stick. Longer than a lot of other games' files I've transferred.
5 trophies away from the plat, btw (Fair Fighter, Supreme Being, Anomalous, Defragmented, Serendipitous... and then the plat, which I don't usually count). The slots fragment is going to be the death of me, I'm sure.
Also, the Long Gui in this game is a bloody joke.
Holy crap, I didn't expect it to be that easy (I haven't level 99'd all of my roles yet). I'm a little disappointed. Yomi, at least, put up a bit of a fight because of how speedy it was. I expected the Gui to cast ultima consecutively on me, because I had Double Shields or whatever it's called set up to minimize damage from that. What a drag.
All I did was:
Rav/Rav on the legs until I staggered (use Thunder for maximum chaining since it's the fastest spell, etc, etc)
Com/Rav to get rid of the leg
Repeat for the other leg
Sen/Sen for whenever it cast Ultima or stomped (btw, is it me or was the camera in XIII easier to handle during Gui battles to see when the Gui was about to animate to do something?)
Sab/Rav to cast Imperil on it, then Rav/Rav to stagger
Then Com/Rav (this is set up twice for ATB cancelling) to get rid of it. Switched to Serah to use her Ultima Arrow to drive the gauge up to 999%, whacked away, and then Noel's Meteor Javelin did it in towards the end when I felt that it was sufficient to use it.
I had a Sen/Med for backup but didn't really need it.
Contrast that with even just my
Shaolong Gui strategy from FFXIII, and you can see why I feel a little disappointed with this.
