You don't even need to use Javelin in my experience. Just plain old attacking works when the stagger is about to run out!

Yeah, Scarletites are a good item to farm/sell. You can farm them with regularity off Don Tonberry (rare encounter) in Bresha Ruin 100AF

Overall, I enjoyed the game more than XIII.

The tape down L1 button trick isn't working for me. On my 5th try now, started with 7300 coins and ran out every time. I doubled the amount this time from racing so let's see if it works.
