Got all my deep dungeon cards so now I an doing Eureka for the first time. I liked Bozja more for sure as a solo player, but I leveled to elemental 12 pretty fast so just gonna keep trucking on. Not trying to get ozma mount, just here for the yugioh cards.

Almost done with the first Eureka zone. Leveling goes pretty fast with the Challenge Log + NM train! I am so glad that Dawntrail is bringing back a Eureka/Bozja mode, its some of the more interesting endgame content.

My new daily routine has been

1. Wake from ingame bed and check retainer.
2. Gold Saucer.
3. Beast Tribe (currently Vanu Vanu).
4. Expert Dungeon, Trials, and Normal Raids roulettes.
5. Get 1 level in Eureka (muuuuch easier grind to digest when I just do one).
6. Go back to ingame bed.

That is basically my path at the moment. Gold Saucer, Beast Tribes, MSQ Roulette, Leveling Roulette, PvP (to level another job), If Sunday, do the Fashion Report and Cactpot. If Tuesday do deliveries.

No real point in the gearing up part. As soon as the next expansion releases, it becomes pointless and you will get better gear in the first couple of levels. Best to just do any side content that you may enjoy for glamour, like Eureka, Bozja, ARR Relics, Housing, etc.

I like having max ilvl gear for new expansions so that I don't need to replace them until the level x7-x9 dungeon. Also allows me to sell the MSQ reward gear on the mb for surprisingly high prices.

But yeah you're right I need to figure out my Viper glam... but I still have plenty of time.

Im slightly gearing up to make my triple triad dungeon/trial runs go faster. Once I started getting into the Stormblood tier of cards I noticed things going a little slower, so I paused to get gear & do Eureka for a few weeks. My goal, which I am almost done with, is:

Weapon: 665
Chest/Legs: 660
Head/Arms/Feet: 650
Accessories: Dont care but at least 640

Do weekly turn-ins for 2 NPCs for scrips
Pick up WT book from Idyllshire
Do daily roulettes
Swap to BLU to finish off WT book that doesn't get 3 lines and turn that in
Logout

Still procratinating on Gathering achievement in Diadem for mount. Usually do that when work from home is slow, but it's been busier lately and also few console things like Granblue & FF7:Rb came out.

I think the bigger issue with Dungeons is that... they are all the same aside from boss battles.

Give us some more unique mechanics in dungeons. Alternate pathways, sneaking around mobs, having to use the enviornment to remove a shield, etc.

IMO we need to go back to Stormblood-level difficulty for raids and trials. Orbonne was quite difficult until they nerfed it, but it was more satisfying and fun to complete than sleeping through Nier and Myths.
Also Shinryu was a killer at launch for some. I remember lots of salt on Reddit about the final boss being difficult. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the genesis of deciding to make the game easier.

I'd also like some complexity back in rotations. As much as I complained about Stormblood DRK at the time, it was signficantly more engaging than what we have now.

I think those kind of dungeons are relegated to Variants now. Story dungeons are linear and formulaic because that's what the community wanted, thanks to people wanting to finish their roulettes as quickly as possible.

He needs to put puzzles in dungeons and make them different then Mob pack x3 + Boss + Mob pack x3 + Boss +Mob pack x3 + Boss.

Also make bosses worth fighting again for material drops to go towards crafting armor and weapons so players have something worth grinding for instead of tokens for useless glowsticks that are obsolete by next expansion. And relic grind just being a 1500 Tomestone dump for each step is lmao lol.

Also make classes unique with different strengths and weaknesses so there isn't one meta party comp.

Also kill the 2 minute burst and remove the Football sized hitboxes on bosses giving incentive for everyone to play melee instead of Caster/Ranged.

Revolutionary Thunder God Cid ironically is still the best boss in the game.

But we all know what will happen. More escort quests. Some with stealth element!

I got the physical and I am happy. Statue looks good, pen case is something I will actively use, and I usually frame cloth maps. Will look nice on my wall next to my massive Warhammer Old World map.

Kinda depends on what data center you are on. If you're on Dynamis you'll want to Data center visit (something you can do at the login screen) to aether, primal or crystal. I think EU has a similar problem. I play at ghoulish times on Crystal and for something like a leveling dungeon I'm rarely queueing for more than 10 mins as DPS, usually much quicker if it's during primetime.

It says FSR but I have upscaling turned off so that it runs at native res. When I select DLSS then it removes the option for the resolution scale so I assume that dynamic resolution is always on then. (I want native 4K at all times)

With DLSS on my 4070. I'm sure there's some tweaking beyond just setting maximum everything, but overall looked good. Definate improvements to lighting. Also I need that alpaca minion in my life.

So how's everyone's characters holding up in the graphics update? I'm seeing a lot of complaints on Twitter/Reddit/Discord about changes to Lala/Miqote teeth, Viera noses, etc.

I'm not actually subbed at the moment so I can't do a 1:1 comparison but it seems my female Viera will handle the transition to 7.0 nicely.

That sucks, hopefully they can reverse that and it doesn't go on any kind of permanent record. Sounds like it didn't even get reviewed by a human first.

If you're certain that you didn't do or say anything 'offensive' during the hunt trains, then maybe something happened prior? Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking SE's side here, it's just that I was under the impression that they didn't ban without evidence so I have to assume they have SOME kind of evidence to back up their ban, even if it's something as innocuous as an obvious joke. Unfortunately, a lot of XIV players these days have very thin skin so even dad jokes can be considered offensive lol

Edit: Oh wait you said it was a report for griefing. Yeah I dunno, then. Not even sure what can be considered griefing on hunt trains this late into the patch cycle. Like who gives a shit if someone pulls early? lol all you need is one ranged attack as a tank with stance and you've got full credit.

Edit2: Actually, I thought of one instance of hunt train 'griefing': tanks spinning the target. Personally I don't care if the target is spinning but I've seen people get pissy about it.
