You need to install it, as crazygambit noted. The PS3 version goes through PSN, either by code or digital download. The first time you run the game on your PSN account, it allows you to create a Square-Enix account and/or register the PS3 license to said account. Only once this has been done can you upgrade it to the PS4 version.

Haven't bought one yet. Will still have riots regardless, it's Black Friday. Nowadays there's always casualties.
Experience with Square Enix account system is that an account doesn't guarantee easy access of anything, hence the top lel
More edit: If you do not have a Square Enix token/authenticator [app], you do not need to fill in the One-Time Password field. This seems to be a common mistake made by newcomers. It is however recommended for you to get one, given that it 1) makes your account more secure and 2) it allows you to set a free teleport location in the game. If you do end up getting the authentication app, remember to write down the emergency password!

Not when you have dynamic IP and SE security system aggroes at every other login.

I got too close to 30 last night on my Rogue so I went ahead and resubbed. Was able to come by some extra funds which really helped!

I need the EU PC version of the game to keep playing on my EU PC trial account, right? Been looking for deals on the digital download but only one I've found is on Amazon US, bah. Guess I'll have to go buy a boxed copy, even though it's not as dirt cheap as the PS3 version.
But yes, been enjoying the trial more than I expected. The polished UI might be part of it, as well as the modal dialogue boxes, the music etc. And playing with a gamepad of course, not sure if I'm gimping myself by not using kb&m but I loathe third-person WASD controls. So far it's been alright, stumbled a few times when switching between LT and RT abilities but nothing major.

Since secondary stats are shit for SMN, decided to switch over and just play as BLM while I casually work on my WiiU novus. I need to get the soldiery staff for blm but the rng is being a prick when it comes to uat in both coil and st. At least I got my first two pieces of HA gear that went straight onto my retainer lol

Never thought of it like that. (my fsh retainer is an extra add on too, conspiracy?!) I think the extra inventory space was real perk for that cash but the two fat cats definitely nice incentive.

Ive got a question pertaining to the Ninja class as there is a little confusion after the changes in one of the most recent updates. What exactly are the requirements other than level 30 Rogue and Level 15 Pug. Do I need to do the class quests and anything else? Also I believe I read that now you have to hit 31 with the Rogue to finally become a Ninja. Plus do i need to do the Sylph-Management quest if I already did it once with my Pali?
I was a little worried at first about the que times switching from Tank to DPS but I have yet to have the Duty Finder go over 30 mins at high peak hours. Individual dungeons may take alil longer to find but not by much in my experience so far that is. After Dark Knight arrives I bet que times will fix themselves.

I've used Duty Finder as a Paladin mostly so it's been okay usually. Nothing has had a queue time this long, though.
Is Step 3 lag because of it being a non-JP data center (._. )
though really if some non-JP servers don't give me too bad of a connection maybe I should switch.
A DPS wait time in duty finder is always going to be quite a bit longer than tanks and healers. Everyone (including me) is working on their ninja's and such. Just wye up then work on ur hunting log or a different class in the meantime. What lvl/class ru?

Welp, rip finishing nexus before the patch comes out, if it's in the next 2 weeks. Was looking around battlenet and noticed there was a 10 day free trial for WoD and was wanting to see what restrictions it had through a pop up. Well...there was no pop up confirmation window and it auto added the trial to my account. So outside of raiding and capping tomes...not exactly doing a whole lot in FF until the trial dies lol.
This is after getting like 160 light in a day just from doing random things every now and then, so was actually in a good place to finish before the patch, if I could keep that up everyday for a little over a week and a half.
