Is there a great price for the PS4 version (preferably digital) out there?
If you play the disc version, does it need to be in the player when you play? I'm addicted to digi-copies and would rather not take out the only physical game I have for it.
I really miss playing an MMO, and WOW is never coming to consoles apparently, and I enjoyed this during the beta.

Yeah tell me about it. At least that will provide some desperately needed gear options. The black mage poetics gear is just swimming in accuracy, every single piece of it. Does anyone really need that much?

The Square Enix store is having a BF sale starting at midnight PST tonight, see if it pops up there.
If it doesn't show up there... Do you have a PS3? You can upgrade the PS3 version (retail or digital) to the PS4 version (digital) for free anytime before Dec 31st. So get the disc copy of the PS3 version, install it on a PS3, register the game to your account, and then go to Mogstation to transfer the license to the PS4 version. You'll get a code to download the digital client for the PS4 and can toss away the PS3 disc. The PS3 version retails for $25, but you can usually find it for $20 (Amazon, Best Buy).

Tonight I ran with my static and we reached 1% too often. >_< it was so frustrating...
Figured its pic time! =) I love sharing pics with you guys about stuff that goes on my end. Hope its alright!
Finally got my T9 body after farming for sometime. I LOVE this outfit.
Game is completely beautiful! I used forced Nvidia settings + sweetfx.
Our group first attempting T9 for a while then conquering it last month.
I dunno why these made me laugh.
Xtechy patting everyone's asses.
And lastly, I love the rogue class so far. Now I just wish the DFs werent so bad...

T11 Questions for your SCHs out there.
We just tried for the first time yesterday.
Fight doesn't seem so tough healing wise so far. At least not compared to T10 but I am at ilevel 107 so yeah
Also, the fact that they already adding another relic step is pissing me off to no end, but I started hating the line as soon as they went away from challenging content to mindless grind. Time spent/effort is just not worth the reward. It also doesn't feel rewarding if you only feel relieved that another step is over instead of feeling real achievement.

I'm getting frustrated with T9. Still didn't even see Heavensfall, after some days of practicing. First and second phase is fucking easy, I don't screw up on that in a long time, but every group I get sucks. DPS always die for stupid reasons, casters getting hit by Dynamo, golems not dying fast enough, mistakes with meteors... Ugh.
How is the skill level on your servers? I play on Cactuar, and I'm turning into an bitchy, asshole player on Second Coil. I don't say anything on chat or try to dismiss players, but I'm abandoning parties more quickly now. I'm definitely not the best player in the world, but I at least can pay attention to the fights.

Ultros, most of the best players stick to themselves and the general PF is rather lacking. I think what hurts it the most, is that it isn't near as active as before.
I too am frustrated with T9 but that's because I've literally never seen SCH book or heal pants in 20+ clears.
Sucks.
Edit: Oh wait, I've seen the book once, our SCH at the time took it. Still. Screw those ninja daggers.
Edit2: Complaining on GAF works every single time, the bloody thing just dropped. XD

They don't have a glow? >_>
The selection is completely random but there's a section of items considered "most rare" and those are much likely to pop up when your retainer is i80 or higher.
Some rare items require that the retainer has a minimum gathering stat (in the case of botanist).

Congrats! It's good to know that the GAF Christmas event will have a real good reward now. It's very noble of you to offer your fat cat for a good cause.

Typical Eliot. Tsk tsk. Now you owe us multiple fat cats so they can eat all of these fish my retainer keeps bringing in while I level it up.

Demoting Gargamel would give me great joy, I suggest doing it.
Mechanics wise, it's not too bad. A decent amount of mechanics to learn, sure, but they're all pretty easy and are things you're more than accustomed to. The hard part of the fight is that you take so much damage so fast and so often.

I dunno. I mean, the grind sucks (and doing a second one reminds me that the grind sucks) but it IS the BiS weapon for literally every class at i115. It's better than a few i120 weapons too simply by virtue of optimal secondary stats vs not (e.g., SMN Book's Acc/Spell Speed vs Crit/Det Nexus) that outweigh the 1 Weapon Damage / 3 Main Stat.
