XV is Square's big game for next year, it'll release in the winter of 2014.

I kind of just hope Square Enix puts their main teams to work with Nomura for now on both FFXV and KH3 and don't start FFXVI in the mean time, only to end up moving FFXV team to it when it becomes a trilogy.

Watch the last trailer we saw, there's loads of open environments to explore.
This trailer had a lot of scripted sequences because they wanted to re-reveal the game in the most 'epic' and cinematic way they could.

It hasn't been in development for all that time. Yes, SQEX made a big mistake in revealing it so early (really, the first time we saw this should've been with that January 2011 trailer, at earliest), but that doesn't mean they are incompetent in any way.

Seems likely. Unless KH needs some extra features that the XV engine can't provide, I think that's definitely the case.

No. You don't want this because things will get boring fast and it'll be a slower process. They'll continue with XV and KHIII. FFXVI would have to be something less Nomura based (and not Toriyama). It's how it should be. Not one guy's baby only, pft. Nomura can do the main designs as he did in VII and VIII, but he shouldn't be the lead for XVI, XVII etc. Yet.

It doesn't look possible on PS3.
They flat out stopped development for PS3, the project is too ambitious, this is just next gen systems.

No word in if its exclusive, probably isn't, but we'll find out later today.
