10 long years. Two kids, finished grad school, paper in Science, got a professorship, moved way more times than my wife and I wanted to.
FF has always marked the changes in my life. Maybe that's a little weird, but there it is.

I'm so livid. Went to work SUPER early to go home early. My order was submitted to the courier yesterday but still hasn't even been processed. It's already 6pm so no XV for me. Meanwhile, my other order (MGS5E + UC4) was also submitted to the courier yesterday and arrived as early as 8am. I don't want to start either game even though I also really want to play them.
Was kinda hoping it'd arrive late night so I can just install it and leave the updates running so I can get home early again, but that's too optimistic.

Crazy. Lots of stuff happened this past 10 years, many good and many bad... I'm far from where I want to be, still finally playing this game makes me feel like the closing a chapter and open a new one, and fills me with energy for what is to come.

It really isn't. It would just be a different kind of spelling for Sydney. I wish they didn't change it personally.

At least at my EBGames (Canadian GameStop), they just stayed open one hour extra to sell the game, and closed at 10.
I'm sure not all stores are doing it either.
Now I'm playing the worst fucking fishing game ever because I encountered a cat on the bridge and I couldn't bring myself to decline the side quest and say say no, fuck you cat, feed yourself.
How the fuck do I catch an edible fish they're all some stupid glowing thing and they're impossible to hook for the intial encounter.

Just got back from GameStop. Early in the day I called and they said no midnight release. Then we got an automated message saying the midnight release was on. I think they have to hit a target number of preorders.
