Why is Noctis only able to take the wheel sometimes?

I don't understand how to level up properly, every thing I do basically levels me up and the main quest is at a super low level. Doing any side quests or hunts basically make you overleveled for the main quest. So am I supposed to not do side quests?

He gets full access in Chapter 3. Ignis only lets you do a test drive but doesn't consider you responsible enough to drive it fully, which is stupid considering he won't drive it during the mostdangerous time of the day.

So for the day one patch that people are having trouble downloading, is it a server side issue thing, or a console slow speed issue?

On my OG PS4 the WiFi download speeds were terrible. I plug in the Ethernet though and its as fast as my internet can go for most things.

Is everyone waiting hours to download the patch on WiFi? Or is the server getting overloaded?

The narrative direction is far removed from a Typical JRPG.Its much more grounded and has a sort of subdued feel to it.

Its just so different from what you'd expect in FF/JRPG.

I am only in the beginning (so I dunno if it becomes more melodramatic/anime) but it does feel inspired heavily by Matsuno's approach in FFXII.

I like it.

So I think Amazon fucked up the road trip dlc, because I got 4 sets of codes. I'll redeem 1 set when I get home and then probably give away the others here. And yeah I know you get three codes, I got four sets of three codes....

And yes, all of those emails have codes, and they all look different except for one of them.

I'd be interested, if possible. I preordered on Amazon.ca, but the road trip thing only allowed for .com buyers. The codes would still work for Canadian accounts though.

Your worries are natural. Trust me I was in the same boat except I enjoyed the beginning chapters more even with the lack of story. It's when it goes full story where all the disappointment came. If it weren't for the ending I would consider it the worst of the series.

I'd be interested, if possible. I preordered on Amazon.ca, but the road trip thing only allowed for .com buyers. The codes would still work for Canadian accounts though.

Same . Playing that game felt like an event...XV doesn't feel the same. I think the poor narrative direction and non-existent pacing is why. For me anyway.

In the middle (around the end?) of chapter 3 so far and the game is ok.

I really don't like the camera/targeting system in the game, the almost complete lack of control over what the other party members are doing, and the controls and combat in general feel a little unresponsive or something. Combat is decent on the occasions where I'm not fighting against the camera and controls. I've only gone into dungeons required by the story but they're pretty cool, the music and feeling of danger reminds me a lot of the NES/SNES era FFs.

Story isn't really bad or good so far, but I feel like they're quickly moving through a bunch of characters and events and it really lessens the impact any of them are supposed to have.

If it tells you can fast travel then do it. Usually it can only be to outposts or parking spots.

So out of boredom I just checked a Wiki to check up on unexplained lore details while my car was automatically driving to its target for 6 minutes and then I had an out of body experience and just thought to myself "What the fuck am I even doing right now." The more I play the more I start to realize that this game is kinda bland and...bad :/

You have to hold to warp to an object. If you got hard lock engaged to an enemy you cannot reach that object.

I've only done like 4 small side quests and a hunt and now I'm level 16 with the main quest battles being around level 9. Guess I'll just leave all hunts for post game and almost all the side quests as well. They really should have balanced the main quests around actually doing most of the content, or just have a hard difficulty. That's my biggest complaint so far
