In the elemency menu, select an empty flask. Then select the element you want with the d-pad (xb1) and use RB to increase the amount you want to pour in (dont know what this means as of yet). Then click d-pad down to the craft bar and select it and equip.

Once equiped, select it with the d-pad and press or hold the B button while targeting Gladio.

Stick through it, things will pick up. But at the end of the day FF games have always turned into monster hunt grinds, that just usually came at the end of the game, instead of mixed throughout it. But the story will pick up. But yeah its the wrong perspective to come into this saying 'ive waited 10 years this needs to live up to that'. That isnt happening. Im more excited for Last Guardian next week and im trying to lower my expectations.

Coming separately. And yes I can't wait to see Cindy in VR ;)

Actually, I can see them eventually adding a mode in VR that let's you cruise around in the car on different routes seeing the world. That would be amazing.

Ive seen the ending stages already and ending story, its as final fantasy as it gets. Kind of even regret doing that as im starting my own playthrough now, since i feel like i might actually finish this one. Problem with long games i almost never finish them and the temptation was too strong for me this time.

that feeling when you have two UPS packages scheduled for delivery... one contains FFXV... by some dark power one arrives, the other gets rescheduled for tomorrow... and it's the one with FFXV. How even!~?

He spotted a good photograph location infront of this mountain. So we get out of the car and get flushed by Imperial attackers immediately, followed by 2 groups of random monsters. We barely make it through it thanks to Regroup and some potions. Once we arrive at the spot for the photograph, Promptonturns around and says the lighting isn't good enough for it and that we should try later.

You get a free stay at somewhere which gives you a 2x exp bonus at the end of chapter 1, so you may want to consider hoarding quite a lot of experience for it.

That all said, I didn't even hoard exp that much and I already feel really over-levelled so you may not even want to.

It's 7 o clock here and ups has one more hour to deliver the game before I complain to amazon about missing release date delivery and ask them for a digital code.

Oh sweet! I took the option to camp for the first time after getting exp from the very first quest, so I'll definitely save up a bit till then. Thanks!

So curiously what are the actual resolutions for Lite and Heavy resolutions? Is Lite an enhanced 1080 mode or are both dynamic or what? This doesn't seem native 2160p in either I take it.

I'm enjoying it so far, I'm really glad I took the time to watch Kingsglaive before release due to other people advising it though, the narrative is ridiculously weak in the first few chapters without me having context through the movie.

Gotta turn it off for now, got work in the morning. 11 hours in, level 18 I think and chapter 3, think I'll definitely be mainly progressing the main story tomorrow.

On another note I'm getting used to the combat now and loving it. Libra makes it so easy to cause havoc on enemies, just make sure you have a variety of magic and weapons. I can already imagine end game is gonna be crazy.

I think maybe they overdid side quests for the sake of exp. If they were more in line of a larger sum of gil, sure. It'd be worth it. But you find yourself over the level with the main story if you go all crazy.

For some reason I can no longer drive the regalia, it only says Auto now and Ignis drives everywhere or the car now only works as a fast travel to and from parking spaces. I'd love to get back into the car and drive myself again.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, I think you can only drive to it once to a location, then it just warps you there, unless you drive it yourself with Noctis.

I saw someone say a few pages back or so that this is supposed to happen and you'll get control back in a bit. Noctis can still drive at night.

You can start driving yourself again in chapter 3.

I'm glad you get that visual cue when you're about to run out of stamina so that you can do the little refresh trick. I was afraid I was going to have to keep the Stamina bar visible.

Turned off all of the minimaps, hints and the bar. Only thing I have up is the HP display. Running around, fighting shit for fun and drawing magic from the environment is giving me FFVIII vibes. (The best kind for me, personally.)

I'm all for a slow, good vibes type of start. However I'm not a big fan of having to run distances through an open world. Hope this trend dies soon.

exactly me, not about to give up 100% of my bandwidth for the rest of the night so I can get to play the game for 30 minutes before I go to bed. I'll just download it while I sleep.

So my game seems enormously fucked up. I can't save at all. It'll just give me an error anytime the game tries to save. And I only have a few sounds during gameplay until I pause and unpause, then it goes back to normal. Any ideas?
