Different team, different branch, nothing to do with the raytraced console/pc version, that's why they will release it earlier.

To me, the switch version still has more in common with the 360 version with the lighting. Inside rooms, its fine, but outside it looks overdone and clashes with the realistic art giving it a more stylistic look. It just throws the whole look off. Not to mention, destruction seems to really push the switch.
