First screenshots of Ramza in Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade

If anything, he looks less feminine in Dissidia. Don't you remember the waist and hips he has on his original Tactics artwork? C'mon.

Seriously.

Speaking of more games need to have that characters actually change clothes over the course of the game.

Agreed.

Lol people over exaggerating. I love it, looks awesome! Can someone translate his move list? I wonder what bgm hell get.

Them hips is made for Yellin'.

An' that is what Guts do.

If Lucavi sprout he's gonna Yell all over you.

Ha ha, another gold star for effort!

There was voice acting in War of the Lions? Thats bizzare. How was War of the Lions, there were two new classes in it right? It made Blood Knight a proper class and there was Onion Knight in it too, right?

Whats the Rom Hacking scene for FFT looking like these days? Any interesting total conversions or are they all difficulty patches?

I absolutely love War of the Lions, but opinions on it are very mixed due to a retranslation that has as many detractors as it does fans (hell, perhaps more detractors) and the PSP version containing egregious lag in battle animations.

Can't speak in detail on the ROM scene, but I've heard there's a hard mode conversion of some kind that's the bee's knees.

I personally think this is a fantastic design and that the negative reactions in this thread are baffling.

War of the Lions has some lag problems without a patch. The translation is objectively better than the PSX translation, but they didn't just fix it up - they totally revamped it into faux-Shakespeare and made it heavily stylized, which seems to get praised a lot but was totally unnecessary.

I honestly feel a pang of guilt for insinuating that Reddas' fabulous pink pants are a bad thing.

I think it's moreover how bizarrely they clash with the rest of his outfit.

People saying that Ramza looked feminine in Tactics are forgetting that all men had a soft look to them. Nearly all men had a waist and hips like Ramza. In fact for some reason men had nearly identical waistlines to the female characters making most look like they had huge hips.

Ramza doesn't need to be all buffed up but the makeup is overkill.

Indeed, he looks like a JoJo character, which isn't a bad thing at all, but it is bizarre.

Yoshida designs some really weird ass outfits.

To be honest it looks exactly like he did in FFT, only in a different art style.

The negative reaction to Ramza seems rather exaggerated. I honestly don't see the big deal as it is a relatively accurate translation of the FFT design.

Also, I sincerely hope they pare down the HUD elements all over the screen for the console version though. I know there'll be differences between the console and arcade versions, so crossing my fingers that that's what it includes.

Yeah, take a look at Ramza's older brother, for example. He had that soft look about him even with a beard.

The "makeup" is just a way of portraying how pasty faced the FFT characters were.

I hope not, I love these super busy, silvery UIs that Square always makes. It was my favorite part of The Last Remnant

Just glancing over it he has access to Ultima.

Also it looks like his EX skills are Accumulate, Cheer and Shout, so theyre all his Squire skills.
He's using Iaido(draw out) in one of the pictures so I'm guessing he'll have a variety of job abilities.
