Not masculine =/= feminine. All male characters in tactics had a soft look. Even TG cid as an old man with facial hair has a baby face. So either all guys in tactics look feminine or they should of taken that into consideration.

yeah seems weird to keep the disproportionate hips (which everyone had in FFT) but not the disproportionate large face and arms, etc. then, make his face much more feminine. relative to other characters, he was rather normal, and if anything a little pudgy in the face, 'a well-fed noble princeling, a little spoiled and royal looking, more pudgy than characters like orlando, alazlam, besrudio.

Aye, FFT had a sorta androgynous design across both male and female with facial features or I should say lack there of, but there is really nothing androgynous about this new Ramza design, it's straight female/feminine.

Huh....and here I thought I was the only one that liked Jihil. Even so far as buying her dlc challenge in the sequel (hardest fight in the game Imho, but is the reward so worth it......when it actually drops that is), was the only dlc I got in that game.

My concern isn't his face, but the visuals in general. Everything looks strangely sterile.

Yeah, that was my take as well.
He's one of the best lead characters in a FF game. Glad Square are finally remembering that he was even in their roster.

A lot of the guys had that really thin waistline. For whatever reason the guys have bigger proportions but had waistlines matching the females which gave some of them more of an hour glass figures in certain instances.
Yeah, the blue flames are a dead giveaway. I hope he gets Sanguine sword just to see how they would animate it!

The reactions to androgynous men versus androgynous women from western audiences is pretty interesting imo.
i can assure you that in this specific case its not just western audiences that has this kind of reaction. i lurked in some chinese forums where people play mostly japanese games and they had very similar reactions.

As far as character development goes, I think he's the best FF protagonist in the series. Plus he's something of an unbeatable badass. He dispatches of Gaffgarion by himself, ffs and he was one of the most dangerous mercenaries in that world, let alone all of the demons/gods that he beats. Dude is a train.

Well he is the descendant of the person who first killed Altima. Despite all of FFT's speeches about free-will and stuff, it was Ramza's destiny to be a badass and defeat the Bloody Angel.

Yeah, I don't know how when put in context with the other characters. People still say the new design has gotten less feminine than the original incarnation.
