on another note, Quest now has a Pasta:
it's 10 calories per serving. wat
I doubt that it could be any good. I would love to be wrong since I could use some low calorie high volume foods.

I second Sean's ass shot motion.
I bet everyone here has a huuuge squat booty, that would be a memorable conclusion,
I've never seen Darth's ass, if his quads are an indication, then that's going to be epic. lol
I third this.
Lol could you imagine an OT with a banner of asses.
I don't know why this has started happening all of the sudden, but after squats my neck and the lower back lower part of my head hurts
Any idea why this might be?
NO, you don't want what you are asking for!
Haha I think my squat booty is pretty big but my quads are poverty. Guess I lift with my butt.
Speaking of which others have found this at GNC? If so I'm off to GNC after work.
What sorcery is this? How can this exist?
HOW?
How can it have no sugars if there are chocolate chunks in it? Is it just simulated chocolate? lol

Would be way funnier than the traditional wall of shame.
Your form is probably fucked up.
Maybe the weight is too heavy and you're straining trying to keep your back straight.
Maybe you have the bar in the wrong spot or your traps aren't squeezed enough to make a good shelf.
Maybe you're craning your neck up at the ceiling instead of straight ahead/slightly up (like 10-20 degrees).
Drop the weight a bit and watch "So you think you can squat"
haha, what's this supposed to mean? I know what I am asking for. As long as it's properly trained, I want to see every muscle everywhere, like everybody else in this thread, lol
hey man, don't let those comments get to you. You said earlier that someone asked you whether you skip leg day or something, right? it's nonsense. You just have huge delts and that may give the impression that other parts of your body are lacking but that's not true, you know it, you've done a fine job all this time and should be proud of you, believe in yourself.

LOL I was kidding. I have a shelf for a butt. It's big and I don't do squats and leg lifts like I should. I am working on fixing that but majorly bad knees and hips makes it hard. No excuses though right? I can't even imagine what it would look like if I did legs like I should have the 17 years I have been lifting and working out. I do lot's of cardio and plays sports and have since high school so it's not like my legs don't get use and work.
Is the $2.04 per bar shipped (with Prime) on Amazon a decent price for Quest bars these days? I don't feel like going to GNC.
Are you guys really meaning me and playing down what I said? I'll type a full response to everything in a sec.
But if you think I don't put on fat easily or just have the right genes, you're crazy. It really ain't that hard folks unless you have some kind of medical issue.
This. This. This. I like how you said diet, that's it. This is the main reason why I view cutting is easier than bulking, you don't need to think about your workout routine to cut. If that is your one and only goal, fat loss. Cardio sure. What you say is true man. I didn't believe it until I just went through this. I put on fat easy as hell. Crap I was 310-320 2 years ago before I started lifting.
Got a real cutting diet and dropped from 20% to 13% in 2 months.

Check the diet. Just check it. If you've had problems cutting, your diet is not right. If you disagree, great, link studies, link whatever, but what I really want to see is your diet for that cut.
If you can't cut down.
1. LOG YOUR FOOD
2. BUY A SCALE
3. MEASURE
4. and finally if nothing works GO SEE A DOCTOR/NUTRITIONIST/THERAPIST
Last fall I did 5/3/1 BBB for 2 months, ate like complete and utter trash and went from a sexy lean 176 to 210. A clean bulk shold've been what, 190 tops? I've been a fatty for 20 years of my life. Everyone in my family is fat. I'm not adopted, and I love shitty foods. I followed a cut from a trainer for 8 weeks and dropped to 186 at 9%. The diet was nothing special, at all. It was purely just healthy eating with a calorie deficit.
I'm not trying to start a serious crazy discussion here, but I think for pretty much everyone in this thread, cutting is not as hard as you think and I'd be more than willing to examine diets and try to figure out something for you.
I will say this much though. If you've been in FitGAF for at least a year and don't own a food scale. You better have one delivered to your door tomorrow. You still have time to order overnight.
[OT6]Quest for a bartter life, Ripptoe conspiracies, and Petrie is an A-hole!
OMG.
Please.
I want to make it into an OT!
This has my vote!
yo man up

Couldn't agree more here, at least from my experience. I've never done a real contest prep, but it scares the shit out of me really. All my friends and their horror stories about losing mass on a contest prep don't help either.I share darths sentiments. I will say though that losing weight does become difficult after you've reached a setpoint somehwhere around 12-10%bf depending on your genetics sometimes a little lower. I feel like the more fat you have to lose the easier it is to lose to be honest, it's when you're already relatively lean that it becomes a battle of attrition. This is coming from someone who packs weight like no ones business.

DIET
Someone help me figure it out. I know it's important, but I've never really bothered with it. Can you guys tell me exactly what you're eating in a day/week, or point me in the right direction here?
Tell me what to eat.
The only pre-workout you need (throw in BCAA and Creatine for a wholesome pre-workout):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRovpd524XA
http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/
This calculator needs to go into the next OP.
Use that Doodis, it'll give you an idea of how many calories (and carb/fat/protein ratio) you should consume on a daily basis, then use the following site:
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/
That will be used to track foods you eat and plan on eating, so you can follow the guidelines from the above site so much easier.
Cool, thanks. I've got myfitnesspal but will check out the calculator.
But I'm also looking for specific kinds of foods. Like an example of a breakfast/lunch/dinner scenario for a day.

My GNC finally got them in so if mine did you should be in luck....I hope. Was good but I think I still prefer Cookie Dough.
got some at mine yesterday. Boxes still like 35 for members...every time I go i feel the need to tell the worker that their company is a bunch of D bags. I tell them in a nice way.
still with the deals it is like 1 dollar cheaper than other local places.
