I still have to wonder if that is alright to put down in a paper. I mean you are bloody confirming a misleading news as a news and go with it. Its more laughable when they write down pages upon pages of how they have predicted this and that earlier this year and it happend. Of course morans, wehn you post shitty news all the time, one of those shitty news might strike a gold. Bloody bastards.

Too bad thats the only paper I read since my flat mate buy it all the time. At least, I don't pay for it.
... JUST SAY NO. IT'S A GATEWAY DRUG.

Vilas Boas did what he had to do. He saw a window of opportunity to reach greatness in football and he jumped through it.

Can't blame him. Porto will remain strong.

Drenthe is a perfect example of a talented young player who wasted away at a big club simply because he was surplus to their needs. Not sure how his season on loan went at Herc this past year but I always thought his move to Spain was a bad idea. Hopefully he can get a fresh start for the new season.

So I've just thought - Where exactly is Mark Hughes in all of this?

He quit Fulham to further his ''experiences'' so what options are left now? Think he might of fucked up here.

Yeah, looks like a pretty ridiculous blunder on his part now. The age-old sage truism of not quitting until you have another job to go to springs to mind.

Would surely be seen as a step down. I wonder if he thought he had the Villa job in the bag and its come back to bite him in the arse.

Maybe that's the kind of experience he wants? A bit of lower league practice. Or he might go abroad?

Villas Boas on a plane to London says Rory Smith.

Press conference tomorrow perhaps. Won't get to see it as I'm off to Glastonbury in the morning, hope to return to a surprise signing.

So now that AVB is gone, I think it's time Sporting stepped it up this year and bring the title back to its rightful place!
at least I hope they can :(

From Twitter but seems pretty reliable as Luis Enrique is the new manager

Bojan will next week sign his contract with Roma, who buys the players for more than 10M including a buy-back option in the deal.

He's welcome back at Ewood.

Let's be honest a Premier League job will come up by November and he will be top of the list.

I'll stick my neck out and say he will be the manager of QPR or Newcastle by November 1st.

Whilst it's as good as done I'd say. It's still not official.

Well, I hope that does seal the deal. We should hear about the announcement soon, and I sure as hell hope it's Boas after all. By the way, what are your thoughts on Boas being the Chelsea manager? Would you have preferred Guus?

I'm completely freaking out right now! He was really the only manager I wanted to see go to Chelsea. I just hope he can figure out Torres.

If I didn't have such a busy week, I would be at World of Beer getting hammered.

Same here, I'm a believer in Torres and I hope a coach with more style can motivate the guy to play better.

While I'm optimistic of Newcastle's chances in the league next season, I would honestly NOT be surprised if he becomes our new manager. Mike Ashley will probably sack Pardew on the notion that we weren't in the top 4 by the end of the year.

My reasoning being that Newcastle are making a few good looking signing but if it doesn't come together quickly then Ashley may get twitchy again.

Trudat.

I've been hoping since the end of the season that we don't do a complete overhaul. Ben Arfa and Gosling are back and raring to go, plus we're still heavily linked with Taraabt, Matuidi, Erdinc, Long and God knows who else. Then there's the drama surrounding Enrique, Gutierrez and Barton, PLUS Smith and Best being told to piss off.

The whole scenario with Newcastle can be interpreted as exciting (which the signings indicate) or tense (which the sales/potential sales indicate).

But yeah, I'm still optimistic, providing Ashley can reign in that impatience and let Pardew nurture the team to the best of his ability.

Someone just sent me a link to highlights of alexis sanchez, holy shit this guy is not fucking about. Now I know why everyone wants him.

If he joins barca this season (its nearly done apparently) then he will be unstoppable with messi, xavi and iniesta

So if De Gea stays put at Athletico as seems to be a possibility, who is going to be United's new no 1. keeper? Are they even linked with anyone else?

£10m bid in for Connor Wickham according to a few papers. Be a good signing if we pull it off but he'll probably end up in the £15m range and I'd rather we spent that on someone proven.

Yep... </3 incredible talent. His performance against Spain at the World Cup has been his most impressive that I have seen. His technical ability is clear, that match showed his character, confident, courageous and a great temperament. Was not phased by the occasion or stage one bit. Don't think I've ever wanted a player at United as much as him, but we never sign anybody I want anyway! He will do well at Barca. He will need to learn to retain the ball a bit better (most players would tbh) but I can't see him failing with such a great set up there.

You guys are lucky, Barca/Real fans...the greatest of players will always long to play for these two clubs, being able to see them in the colours of your side, and live at the ground, can't imagine what that's like.

It seems to be all but done. De Gea is changing to a new agent on July 1 who United have very good (and suspect) relations with and it will probably go through then.

united are hardly lacking in the talent department. will be amazing to see sanchez in barca colors hopefully, same for cesc in my opinion (not that we really have a use for him, but he is another amazing player, who wouldnt want him)
