Echo the <3 for Iniesta :)

I think he's the best player in the world right now. Granted Messi and Ronaldo are fantastic and score an insane amount of goals - but Iniesta is simply a sublime footballer.

Nasri only gave us half a season last year, but we do owe alot to him.

However, if he ends up at City, good riddance to him. He can join them like all the other Arsenal has beens. I can understand him wanting to go to Utd (as much as I hate that idea too), but a move to City would be for nothing else other than a huge weekly packet and all respect from Arsenal fans will be lost.
That just isn't true anymore though. City are a big player now. You could certainly make an argument that City are a better career move than Arsenal in terms of money and success.

He could still pick City over United and it be seen as a fair choice. City and well enough placed to win things and why not collect an extra 60k a week.

just talked to my man united friend and he called him a "money grabbing dickhead" hmmmm.

Haha! You just can't say that anymore. Maybe 6 months, a year ago..you could. Or maybe if he was leaving a team winning things. Arsenal are not, they're about to lose their best player, won't pay the guy best placed to fill his void in the team what we wants and haven't addressed the issues in the team for a few years.

Tbh, not only can you not blame Nasri for wanting to leave, it actually makes alot of sense. And that's what's got to be most worrying for Arsenal fans.

Anyway, SSN reported it in such a concrete way and tbh I think him actually leaving is still a long way away.

i'm surprised that bayern doesn't get enough hate for buying success like other clubs

Actually, Leverkusen was trying to sell Vidal to ANYONE but Bayern (they openly said this), that's why this is news.

I agree, SSN saying now that both manchester clubs are interested. Acting as if it was something new to find out united were in for nasri aswell. Expect this to be the new cesc saga after he leaves. Wenger saying no major deals are going to happen until towards the end of july.

lol he needs that much time to find replacements? i bet Arsenal fans are thrilled with Wenger's masterplan

Because they grow their own talent as well. Plus they bought Robben when no one wanted him, and they stuck with Ribery when any other club would've ran him out of town.

The lack of accuracy in this u-17 team is infuriating at times.

Midfield loves to shoot any chance they get.

Fierro looks dangerous everytime he has the ball, but is still selfish.

Casillas not starting... lulwut?

Romanes Eunt Domus
Potro Gutiérrez is clearly from the school of Javier Aguirre. "I'm gonna keep my best man on the bench for a +3 bonus on surprise attack!"

As of this post, Fergie has ordered Man U to get Nasri.
Clichey to leave if City secure £90,000 weekly.

I'd be sweating if I was a gunners fan. This summer will either leave them with a sigh of relief or a pair of soiled pants. Who will replace Nasri, Gael AND Cesc?

Nasri could be doing all this to get a wage rise, ala rooney. but if all 3 leave, arsenal are going to find it hard to qualify for the champions league. thye have gibbs for clichy, not as good though. Nasri would be replaceable if their interest in mata is true and they get him. Fabregas isn't replaceable unless they buy someone like modric or sneider which is really unlikely.

read that United representatives met with nasri's reps, but his agent wasn't there so not sure what was going on.

Considering the position Arsenal could be in if they lose Nasri, I reckon Mata would go to Barca or Liverpool before heading to Arsenal.

I don't know what's going on either. But Man U have a habit of getting the players they want with little to no problems. If Fergie says he wants Nasri, I really, really doubt they won't get him by summer's end.

Whatever wages Nasri gets from Arsenal, United (probably) and City (definitely) can better them and add the prospect of trophies.

btw cool avatar Zibrahim

Not all clubs can have world class midfielders and defences (though to be fair you should know all about the latter).

That are in the process of fucking off cos you win nowt.

Keep talking, Zibrahim. Morale-boosting post.

lol I would love Arsenal to be serious contenders again. We'll know which direction they're headed by tomorrow. Barca releases their statement on Cesc and Sanchez and I'll stop with the negativity.

Couldn't agree more. United especially.

Also thanks. I quite like this avatar too.

I defintely hope Vidal stays. Leverkusan has to be competitive in the CL somehow. Imagine Lyon selling Hugo Lloris for 15M €. That would be as dumb.

Only Fabregas' departure would hurt Arsenal.

Let's be realistic regarding Nasri. The guy had a good start to last season but is way to inconsistent and not all that good. Definitely easily replaceable, as is Clichy whose performances over the past 2 seasons clearly show that his heart just isn't in it. Both players should be moved on as they are not acting in the best interests of the club.

The main thing holding Arsenal back is that Wenger refuses to pay top dollar for players. He wants everyone on the cheap and life just doesn't work like that. I would love for Mata to come to Arsenal but it won't happen. As an Arsenal fan I've come to accept that we have a manager who is more concerned about his own reputation and list of players that he has developed that he prioritizes his own desires over the needs of the club and it will cost him every one of his stars to eventually leave. I am off the opinion that Wenger cannot take Arsenal any further forward and until he is replaced Arsenal's glory days are over.

Is this your first CM/FM experience?

I dabbled with some superficial free-to-play thing about five years ago; it's fair to say yes, this is my first time.

I just buttered up Evra with a new contract. Inter can't have him.

Lets be honest. The tournament has been pretty friendly towards mexico, and they have not have won a single game in a convincing fashion. They've faced Congo, North Korea, and Panama....... and barely won vs Netherlands. They have some talent in the midfield, but they lack the firepower, and their defense is hit and miss. In my opinion, they'll get destroyed by France.

:( I feel for you, potentially losing fabregas on his own is one thing but possibly clichy and nasri? fuck man...

Xavi's my boy. As a midfielder myself (not a very good one, mind), he's by far my favourite player to watch at the moment, especially now Scholes has retired.

Denilson is staying at Arsenal. This is getting painful to watch.

Yeah his probably realised that nobody wants him especially for the wages he earns here.

Good news though is that Atletico Madrid are apparently interested in Almunia.

Heh, well, prepare to be sucked down a time-vortex that knows no end. It won't matter that you turn up to work or school half-awake--no slight or insult will breach your calm satisfaction--when you've brought Championship Team X back into the PL and placed them at the zenith of European football.
