Hope so. The Moura price is crazy. If we got Eriksen and a Moutinho or Sahin, I'd be happy. The fact that the reports originated in the local Dutch media lend it some credence.

Who was missed more by their team last season, Vidic or Lucas?
Vidic has better cover, but his absence may have cost them the title

Marotta will use the sharingan or offer he can not refuse.
€20m is still too much. I doubt he'd be able to well in the PL already. Best option would be to buy him for €10m + bonus and loan him back to Ajax for another season. He'll need (at least) another season in a lower league before making a successful transition to PL/La Liga.

All three will be class CBs, but Vidic's mentality is in another stratosphere. Don't see a defence with him in it, crumbling down to 4-4 against Everton.

Agreed. Thought it was necessary to persist with the British lot, to get them to gel, and to justify their purchase, but it cost the team then, and it seems to have cost us now.
Inception music for his tribute is all but fitting, Maxi was dreamy.
Possibly, but Maxi leaving just opens up the opportunity to seek long term solutions.
As I said, Maxi and Kuyt leaving will free up enough wages for 2 or 3 quality young players. Just depends on whether FSG are willing to take the short term hit in terms of transfer fees.
