Because it's Ozil? He's absolutely immense.

Don't care if Kagawa plays in his position we should be after him. He's one of those players when if they become available, you go for them no questions asked.

And you made a good point, Shinji doesn't even make the squad so why not go for Ozil?

Best signing of the summer for a PL team.

What do you guys think about Ba on a season long loan to Arsenal? Lots of talk on twitter that it is a deal likely to happen.

At this point, given the positive Ozil news, I would be delighted to have him as an option in the squad.

Ozil's agent approached United a few weeks ago and we said we weren't interested.

Some journo's are speculating that we said no coz we already have 2 players already in Ozil's position and that signing CM 's is what we're focusing on.

It's a reasonable viewpoint imo.

It is reasonable. But when the manager clearly sees Kagawa as not being good enough and we lacking a proper no.10 we should have got him. He would have improved our first team immensely. Players like Ozil are very rarely offered,if ever and when they are you should snap them up.

That price is insane considering the good position Arsenal is in. Özil wants to leave Real and only Arsenal is seriously interested. That is overpaying by a good 10m to 20m depending on what will be the final price.

Yep, something he shows frequently. He has problem to keep up his pace for 90 min and often becomes invisible at some point in the second half. His biggest weakpoint imo.

A lot of English clubs have more money than sense. Look at juventus and milan getting tevez and balotelli for 35 million. Insane.
