Cesc and Sanchez completely feel like purchases made for the sake of making big signings, rather than purchases to help the team. Especially in Sanchez's case, his playstyle is completely at odds with the rest of the team

Honestly never seen anything like it. At the time I found it hilarious, and still do. But now it comes with the caveat that you guys were clearly and absolutely robbed in a Champion's League semi-final, regardless of Abidal's incorrect red card. If ever there's been a match where a team doesn't deserve their result, its that one

Rumours were that Pep's conditions if they wanted him to stay were to sell Cesc, Pique and Sanchez. He can see the future.

I don't think the board wanted that though, considering two of them were both just bought that season.

I don't even know if that rumour is true but it wouldn't surprise me.

Surely Pep did enough to have a big say in transfers in and out? I can't imagine they bought them without his say-so, especially Fabregas when you fucked about for over 2 years trying to prise him away.

You notice how well Milan did against him?

He had 1 or 2 good dribbles and that's it. And as I said, you shut him down(main scorer and assister in the team) and there is not much more threat, especially with Iniesta on the wing.

Iniesta won't do decoy runs like Pedro/Villa/Tello. He isn't made for that.
