Came so close to buying 3DS & charger for 146.97. Almost pressed go to checkout, my heart is telling me to wait. Is a 4gb SD card enough for Pokemon and stuff, or is it more for saving photos and shit? Because I won't use it for that, will just use it for games

you will normally get a couple of retail games and a handful of eshop games on a 4gb. nobody knows how big pokemon will be, very few 3DS games so far have been bigger than 4gb though.

So games do save to the cart?

Yeah, games save to the cart. The SD card is for photos as mentioned and/or if you download games from the eShop. 4GB would be plenty for most folks although SD cards are insanely cheap now so you could go bigger if you wanted.

Nasri did make a comment about Mancini going in an interview in the last day (not Twitter). Said he felt bad about it -- believe he is the first player I've seen talk about it.

Ah okay, 4gb should be fine, not gonna use photos really; some eShop games will be as far as I go.

Games save to the cart. Your SD card is for stuff like pictures, videos, trailers, games and more that you can download from the eShop.

It holds spotpass data and DLC too.

No idea what spotpass is lol. The only thing I'll use it for is eShop games I think, got my iPhone for everything else that does, cheers.

Gonna wait to see if it drops another ten, twenty quid.

Spotpass and Streepass are two little features on the 3DS.

Spotpass - Nintendo's stupid terminalogy for connecting to WiFi to download certain stuff. Swapnotes (pictures you can draw and send to each other) for example

Streetpass - when you power the unit on and close the lid it goes in streetpass mode. This will share certain information with other consoles in range, like swap Mii's for your plaza and certain games utilise this too!

I imagine they do some good stuff with Streetpass for Pokemon.

Manchester City Football Club is delighted to announce Patrick Vieira as the new Head of the Elite Development Squad, a position he will take up on 1 June, following two years in the role as City’s Football Development Executive.

The Elite Development Squad currently play in the Under 21 Premier League and from 2014 will be based at the City Football Academy, City’s groundbreaking training ground development, which is currently under construction on an 80 acre site adjacent to the Etihad Stadium.

Vieira’s illustrious playing career includes the winning of five FA Cups and nine league titles. His 107 caps for France include winning performances in the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2000 UEFA European Championships. His time as a Manchester City player, which began in January 2010, concluded with the winning of the FA Cup Final in May 2011, the Club’s first silverware in 35 years.

During his two years in his current role, the Club has supported Patrick in his coaching development which resulting in him securing his UEFA B coaching licence last year, an achievement on which he continues to build as he works to secure his UEFA A licence.

Patrick Vieira said: “After spending two years working across a number of areas of the Club and with a particular focus on the Youth Academy, I feel honoured and privileged to have been offered this role. This marks a new chapter both in my career and in my life and I am looking forward to it immensely. My passion for the development of young talent has only grown in my time at City and I am pleased to be able to play my part in helping to shape the footballing future for Manchester City.”

Ferran Soriano said: “Patrick is a world champion and it is a great honour that he has chosen Manchester City to begin his football management career. I have seen him carefully considering options and choosing to coach for the best reasons; he has a love of the game and a willingness to continue to learn and transmit his knowledge and experience to young footballers.”

“Patrick’s role is of the highest long term importance for the Club. The ability of the Academy, the Elite Development Squad and the First team to work together using the same football concepts is key to our success and sustainability.”

Manchester City would like to offer their best wishes to Attilio Lombardo, who stepped down from this role, and to thank him for his work with the EDS over the last year.

Caught Offside are embarrassing. I should just block them from my NewsNow like I did with Bleacher Report.

Good stuff! There were rumors he was going to go back to Arsenal in some sort of coaching/executive position. He's a very useful guy to have with the club. I figured from the first line that he'd be overseeing it rather than actually managing the team as it seems like he'll be doing. Very cool.

This is a pretty interesting statement.

They are incredibly serious about getting U21 players into the first team.

Jim Cassell did an amazing job when we were skint. 40+ players through to the first team including the likes of SWP, Barton, Ireland, Sturridge, Richards etc.

Let's see if Vieira can coach the next generation!

If you're serious about it, you'll loan Guidetti and Suarez out

The Italian squad for the Confederations Cup:

GK: Agazzi (Cagliari), Buffon (Juventus), Marchetti (Lazio), Sirigu (Paris St. Germain);

Defenders: Abate (Milan), Antonelli (Genoa), Astori (Cagliari), Barzagli (Juventus), Bonucci (Juventus), Chiellini (Juventus), De Sciglio (Milan), Maggio (Napoli), Ogbonna (Torino), Ranocchia (Inter);

Midfielders: Aquilani (Fiorentina), Bonaventura (Atalanta), Candreva (Lazio), Cerci (Torino), De Rossi (Roma), Diamanti (Bologna), Giaccherini (Juventus), Marchisio (Juventus), Montolivo (Milan), Pirlo (Juventus), Poli (Sampdoria);

Strikers: Balotelli (Milan), El Shaarawy (Milan), Gilardino (Bologna), Giovinco (Juventus), Osvaldo (Roma), Sau (Cagliari).

De Sciglio :D I would've left Sau at home and brought Pazzini, to be honest.

Also, Milan celebrated Becks earlier today:
MILAN – One of Milan’s most famous fans is hanging up his boots. David Beckham, who spent 2 half seasons with the red and black of Milan, will play no more.

An impeccable professional, he made his debut for the Rossoneri in January 2009 against Roma is a match that ended 2-2. He left the club in March 2010 with an Achilles tendon problem after the match against Chievo.

Always ready to sacrifice himself for the cause, Beckham on that evening got off the pitch as quick as he could to allow Milan to push forward and for Clarence Seedorf to score the game’s only goal.

His arrival at the club may have been greeted with some skepticism but his performances as a player quickly won over the non-believers. Two goals against Genoa and Bologna as well as 29 appearances with AC Milan helped the team towards two Champions League qualifications.

Thank you and good luck from all the fans and everyone at the club to David Beckham.

Are Milan really after Cerci too?

looks like la nazionale will be juve/milan again. i also would have brought in pazzini, but i would have taken him over gilardino or giovinco. sau has been very good this season and would definitely include him over the likes of giovinco, who hasn't shown much.

also with regard to beckham, i'll always love him for his stint at milan. he really played his heart out and it was great to watch.
