Everyone seems to mystified about Balotelli over Tevez but he's typically a good player in big games. He opened the scoring in the 6-1 last year.

Tevez was much, much better, but I wasn't all that surprised by Balotelli starting.

Difference is Balotelli was far better last season.

This season he has....... ONE goal.

ONE!

I enjoy Mario Balotelli living the life of a discarded toy. He's football's Furby, yo-yo and Pokemon card. Popular for a bit because LOL BANTER then everyone got a bit bored of his antics and moved on. Good bootleg Berbatov impression.

yeah i thought it was similar to fergie always playing park against arsenal.

he scored against us in the f.a cup semi-final the year before too

it's the classic if he scores mancini's a genius, if he doesn't he's an idiot situation though

This is how I think it'll finish as well (but massive ? on the placement of 1/2). Spurs aren't far enough ahead for the predictable Arsenal March revival.

Well, at least we won't have 'Arry trying out his would-be Engerland tactics on our players in Jan & Feb.

Tevez and Aguero should be City's main striking force. There is no argument that can be made against it.

Dzeko is good as a sub.

Balotelli should be sold if any club wants to buy him.

It's crazy that only 4 points seperate 4th and 12th place.

I am very positive balotelli fucked the wife of jamie rednapp. Nothing else describes the bile he has for the italian

Or just because he's shit and is repeatedly talked up like he's the second coming of Pele's Viagra fuelled rampages through the streets of Rio

I agree. He bossed Evans and Rio last year at Old Trafford.

He led the line by himself at Wembley and put himself about. Was just a menace in a positive way. But today... It wasn't his day.

I can show you gifs that makes Joe Cole and Ryan Babel look like a super stars also. According to stats when Nasir played, Arsenal lost more than they won. R. Babel did a lot of fancy footwork also but he still wasn't a good player.

358 days of the year aren't his day.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

I think we will improve massively once we get our injured players back. Kaboul, BAE and Parker were 3 of our top players last season, they managed 4 league appearances between them so far. Europa group being over will also give us a boost, we have looked a bit jaded and now we can recover properly between games.

Honestly we played fine today for 90 minutes, we stopped Everton getting at Lloris and we only lost because Caulker shat the bed. Until the added time it was an organised away performance.

Yenrot you masterful fuck

His goal in the 4-2 at Highbury is still potentially my favourite ever
Just for the expression he had afterwards. It was basically that Eric Cantona finish. Except it wasn't the mercurial Frenchman doing it, it was a jack-of-all-trades defender.

Just woke up catching up on scores and highlights. Rooneys first goal, awesome finish. Reminds me of messi running one way and shooting low into the opposite corner.

Shot was a bit slow and Hart maybe could have done better.

Balotell looks a shadow of the player he was at the Euros.

I've always had the impression that he plays best when the ball is played directly to his feet. He isn't a tireless player like Tevez. City never really played into Balotelli and he was isolated as a result.

Mancini dropped a bollock in his selection today.

Top three John O'Shea goals are vs. Arsenal, vs. Liverpool and that Champions League goal where he swung at the ball, missed it and the ball went in off his standing leg. Paul Scholes would later pay tribute to it with a similar goal against AC Milan at the San Siro.

he's a jack of no trades one now the fucking fuck biscuit
The man's not got much to work with. Where's Wesley Brown anyway, is he still injured. <- a question asked for the majority of the past decade, apart from that game against Barcelona where he was a god.

About as blatant red card as you will see this season.

Sterling is quite small/weedy, he went for the ball and got it, I don't see the problem. Its a contact sport and theres nothing malicious in it.. ok he made a bit of contact with Sterling so its probably a free kick but I think to say its a blatant red card is a bit harsh.

It was brilliant to see us playing counter-attacking football.

We look so much better when playing at speed. We just aren't as good when we play it slow.

Young and RVP link up made my anus so fucking wet

Reminded me of how we used to play against Arsenal; would fuck them 3-1 every time because they just played into our hands on the counter.

Pisses me off when tony v stops and shimmies on the spot for 2 minutes then just passes it backwards

Valencia was slowing everything down in the second half. Look knackered though, must have been a big effort for him today.

Young was so good it was very strange.

Yurt

Bonucci- "I ask forgiveness for that ugly moment, it was a bad example and a deserved booking."

Next time shoot please. That's usually the first rational option.

Forget Valencia was injured actually, fair play to him. He was definitely the weak link in a cracking team performance today, but there is that element I suppose.

Can't wait until Shinji's back though, hopefully we can accommodate him. RVP + Kagawa link up is too promising to waste.
