I am trying to be objective, I swear. But Dan sometimes speaks stuff like he is deliberately trolling all people that have serious expectations out of Forza series. And his commentary in this video is greatest trolling of LeMans race ever in context of delivery.
Sorry for being negative, but I really had to comment on it.
Great graphical upgrade in replays and I so love debris detail. I hope imperfections in headlamps, as seen on the first P1 stationary renders in Prague, will be part of "decay" for cars.
I dont think that presenting the current hotrod in these races, that R18, to be in-game, along with t10 partnership to that same audi team, and along with a fresh laser scanned version of Le Mans
qualifies as trolling.
i would say it qualifies for the opposite. like, potential for serious racing.
and about "teamwork" (brotkasten)
to be fair, this driver, Tom Christensen, he brings up the "teamwork" card when he explains how the car has always online sensors for data logging, for every single session, and how the team mechanics dont sleep because they are constantly crunching that data, optimizing.
the "teamwork" audi driver mentioned, had nothing to do with pitstops etc, it was more at the r&d level."teamwork and technology progress" was his punch line.
so I think it was actually a good pass to take to t10 parallelism, where they also are a team, and tell how they've expanded, what they look for etc.
yes, I understand how some people want to hear "pitstops", but iirc there will be no pitstop strategy in forza 5, and this was declared a long time ago. (for me definitely in my secondary list of things i want in forza)
