Fable seems to be a late 2025 or even 2026 release they they've been working on it for nearly a decade, so I wouldn't be surprised if they have two games in the oven and Forza releases first.

Playground games have 2 lines one of which was set up to develop FABLE.
I would imagine Forza Horizon 6 will be ready to go at the end of this year or next summer

Gran Turismo always had a lot of everyday cars. The thing is that most of them are from Japanese brands. Only this month they're adding the Toyota C-HR among other models.

Yeah wouldn’t be surprised to see them reverse the “Xbox Game Studios” rebrand from 6 years ago
They also seem to be keeping the Activision and Bethesda brands

It's hilarious that the GAAS blunder from Sony that resulted in a slowdown of single player games is being saved by MS. Indiana Jones, Doom and Forza in the first half of this year alone.
Even the shutdown on Evolution studios isn't that big a deal anymore. You don't need a new Driveclub when you have Forza instead.

Same, I spent 200+ hours in Driveclub. Both FH3 and 4(I haven't played 5, but these games are basically the same beside setting) bored me to tears at around 5 hours in. These games are essentially ubisoft checklist trash-template just in the racing genre.

I'd argue you still do. They play very differently.
I'd love for Driveclub or PGR to make a return. There's definitely room for it.

I understand what you mean, but keep in mind these games haven't been locked to Xbox hardware for many years now. Forza Horizon 3 f.ex. came out on PC in 2016.
But yes; every consumer who's not deepthroating corporate penis on this planet benefits from all games being multiplatform. So the defiant reaction from some people in this thread is cringy beyond belief.

No, GT uses units sold. Not players, not revenue, sold! When you basically give your game away, you get players who had no intention of buying it, which is not as invested into the game because they didn't pay for it. A player could have launched the game to play one race and that is it. A person who paid $70 or even $40 is more likely to complete more game.

I don't blame them. Many people select consoles based on exclusives( not all, but many). Finding out that you could have gone the other way of the coin toss and still gotten the same game along with the exclusives on the other console, it stands to reason why they are bit miffed.
Gt has never been on subscriptions though, so when GT talks about players they refer to copies sold unlike Forza where it is anyone who has accessed it on gamepass.
Just like deckerd, you can't resist it and self desruct any point you are trying due to your console warrior behaviour , lol. As for playstation output, they have consistently been good enough for goty nominations. You and others might not like it, but many do. There is a reason why first party games are on average selling better than ever before. Their fastest selling game was in 2024, second fastest in 2023, third fastest game in 2022. GT 7 is selling faster than any gt before and is on track to be the best selling game in the series( and that too even though GT7 has never seen steep discounts like previous entries). Besides the usually rare mishaps like Concord, their output has been great. And that's just looking at first party, if we count third party exclusives, they are doing even better.

I've seen this a lot recently, but it's not going to happen. Unless PS5 console sales tank, Sony has zero reason to port their games to Xbox. Same with Nintendo.

Microsoft game studios sounds way better. Plus it's good to remove the xbox naming because of its negative perception. People recognise Microsoft branding way more than xbox.
I liked all of the Burnout games EXCEPT Burnout Paradise. I just don't like open world racing games.

I assume that sending Forza Horizon 5 over to PS is part of laying the groundwork for eventually sending FH 6 to PS, too. That way, they build a fanbase on Playstation first, then release FH6 simultaneously to a much bigger audience on PS5/6.
I've seen that, too - not so much here but elsewhere. Xbox gamers talking about how Sony should (or will) send their exclusives over to Xbox now. Some think it's fair play, like there's a tit for tat thing going on. Others think Sony should do it because "exclusives bad." Some think Sony will do it, because they are in financial trouble ("What about Concord?" etc.)
They really don't get it. MS has to do this; they have no choice. Sony and Nintendo have built their success on their exclusives. They aren't going to walk away from that. It would be suicidal. Yet, this is what some Xbox fans are telling themselves. I've encountered them online and tried to talk sense to them, but it's like talking to a recorded message.

That depends, a disc XSX model may actually hold its value considering MS apparently already abandoned their production.
Plus it's still a good machine to play backwards compatible games with various upgrades.

PC is a competitor. It's true that pc, Xbox and Nintendo have their own space to flourish but they're still competing especially pc and ps5. They'll keep eachother honest.

Xbox Series X will likely be my last Xbox console, however, I'm quite happy with it due to BC, select exclusives to Xbox, system enhancements, and access to plenty of emulators that work well.
