I dont like this series at all. I think it's not as good as DriveClub and nowhere near as fun as Motorstorm and older arcade racers from the Nfs team.
It will be interesting to see if the PS audience embraces this like they did Sea of Thieves. Another game i just didnt get.
Now Forza 8 was great. Gorgeous graphics. Great driving mechanics. Sadly, not much else great in that game but at least it got the core elements right. I hope they port that to PS5 next.

No thanks. Motorsport is still a mess 1 year after release.
No reason to buy Motorsport when GT exists and when you still have access to stuff like AC.

I’ve seen a ton and of horrible tales coming from people who are clearly emotionally hurt by this move. People trying to say anything to somehow spin this as not just a positive for xbox but a loss for Sony.But it won't. God of War, Horizon (Aloy), The Last Of Us series, etc. It would have to sell a truckload to stand on that level. Won't even mention Spider-Man as it's laughable to even think it would match that, let alone beat it. We don't even have solid figures for the game between PC and Xbox and now all of a sudden it's going to compete with Sony's top sellers?
I just notice a lot of random shots being taken Sony's 1st Party stuff (not you) with this news. It's the literal display of coping.

Nah, Indiana Jones would have been day one if it was ready. They made this pivot mid-development.
Hence why they announced the PS5 version before the Xbox version even released.

Forza Horizon 5 was probably the game that Playstation was most missing from Xbox library. There was just lack of pure fun arcade open world racing game. Imo it has problem with feeling proper progress but still good game. Forza Motorsport 8 is irrelevant as almost everything better do Gt7.

The Horizon games took the Burnout Paradise formula and took it to such a refined place. A good mix of 'set-piece' type races and some genuinely good open-world racing too.
Shit, I'm probably gonna download FH5 over the weekend again now.

Sony’s costumers need competition, but going the way of Sega doesn’t mean everything is negative. Sega was delivering absolute dog shit as a first party (trust me, I had a Saturn), and now is a publisher that has some of the bigger bangers quality wise of the industry:

show me the "rumbler" inside the trigger. I have seen these things gutted, and there is literally nothing inside the trigger other than plastic. and the only thing connected to the trigger is the plastic trigger stop and the rubber dome pad.
show me a picture of the rumble motor of the Dualsense triggers...
this is how Astro's Playroom does the "rumble" effect:
as you can see, the "rumble" is the motor turning the gear, and the plastic stopper pushing against the trigger multiple times a second

Now I can finally say it, FH5 is the worst FH game, imo. 3 was brilliant, 4 was great, 1&2 laid the foundations and were great in their own accord. 5 though, is derative and soulless. The map is as forgettable as recent AC games, the roads are too wide especially around corners, etc. You get too many cars too fast and end up not using the majority of them. Not to mention all the cringe that is there almost everywhere in this game, literal "how you doing, kids!!" energy that radiates out of it like a rusty mold.
Astro's playroom? It is the best selling Sony game of all time.

i really hope i can play the fidelity mode at 60fps on the pro, it would truly be a bummer if they dont utilize the extra power. i put so many hours into the game on series x and the game landscapes have the best lighting tech, its photo realistic at times but only at 30fps. the 60fps mode on xbox scales down the graphical effects significantly. so i hope the devs will utilize the latest pssr ai scaling and extra power on the pro. super stoked for this and im grabbing the deluxe version day one! finally i can play this under one roof, all my gaming is on sony platforms

I can see it selling 3 to 5 million units, maybe even more due to sheer novelty of core Xbox franchise being on ps. Personally I doubt it will do gt7 or even gt sport numbers though
