:lol Went back to try and finish career mode. I have TWO races left, both are on Camino Viejo de Montserrat Extreme. Great thing is, I can't enter either races because I get an error saying it can't read the disc. 120 hours spent in career mode, 99.9% complete and I get bent over with two races left. :lol

Can't be my Xbox because all other tracks and races work, plus I went through Splinter Cell Conviction about 4 times and had no problems with disc errors. Forza 3 disc has no scratches on it. I didn't think this would ever be a problem again, seeing how I play all my games on the hard drive.

Actually, you just said you play all your games on hdd, so you probably installed disc 1 too. You should try uninstalling and installing again.

The schedule has changed just a little bit, in that the voting wont start on a Friday, it will start on the Monday after the pitpass, go through until Thursday which will kick off the Time trial featuring the winning car.

Also the car for this battle will sport an Alan Wake livery by Phredesign which should be awesome.

Jube, please continue to bump the thread with the latest spyshots.

Actually, you just said you play all your games on hdd, so you probably installed disc 1 too. You should try uninstalling and installing again.

I managed to get the two final races to work. Very strange, however. I get the disc error while playing from the hdd, but when I play the game off of the disc, I got no errors.
I'll try reinstalling it anyways, just to see if it makes a difference.


Finishing the career mode means that it's the first Forza game that I managed to complete. Didn't even get close with the first 2 games. Now, all I need to do is the 100,000 drift challenge and it'll be the very first Xbox game that I earned all achievements. Problem is, I can't drift to save my life. :lol

Seriously, there must be some magic trickery because the lighting is perfect on both shots; it looks almost like a different game .

Anyway, I really like the fact that Turn 10 add "independent" car manufacturers. It's a nice change from the usual big names (Audi anyone ? :lol ) we see in every games. It will probably sell less because of that so even more props to Turn 10 for that !

I hope more diversity is the direction they're taking for the next DLCs or at least for the next Forza. As much as I like driving the newest supercars hotness, I'd really like them to focus on adding older cars.
Oh and add more french cars too, I know we have the crème de la crème with Bugatti and we mainly do diesel cars nowadays but we have a glorious past of (sporty) cars like the Peugeot 205 T16 Pikes Peak, Peugeot 406 T16 Pikes Peak, Peugeot 206 WRC, Citroën Saxo VTS, Citroën Xsara WRC, Citroën 2CV, Citroën DS, Citroën BX 4TC, Citroën ZX Rally Raid, Citroën SM, Citroën CX, Renault Laguna I V6 (imagines the BTCC skins, we could relive ToCA and ToCA 2), Renault Safrane Twin Turbo, Renault Espace F1, Renault Clio Williams, Renault Maxi Mégane, Renault Mégane II R26R, Alpine A110, Alpine A310, etc...

Well, like other Forza press shot, the original size is probably above 3000x1600. That and the fact that it's extremely well compressed and from the photo mode.
Other than that, it's probably not touched up with Photoshop.

The Veyron is quite a pita on some S events(though my SL Black can compete with it after asshole tactics at the track) and I was eventually gonna buy a CLK-GTR to compete against it :lol

Though with the SSC being lighter and more powerful, I wouldnt be surprised if the class bumps up ;_;

The SSC will definitely be in R3 because it is RWD which according to the Forza law makes it a better car compared to a 4WD like the Veyron.
Honestly I don't really care about it since I find the SSC to be really ugly. :lol

Dont ge me wrong, the SSC looks like a 90's Lambo with down syndrome (imo) :lol

But I need something to compete with the Veyron. Its bad enough the car's acceleration is ridiculous, but when the AI Veyron can go around corners like a Lotus Elise and my car cant, it becomes frustrating.

Most S cars(or potential S) in my garage are either good handling, bad top speed/acceleration(against a veyron anyway) or good acceleration/top speed but wonky handling. Even if I manage to get ahead of the Veyron in the SL65, the AI magically appears next to me once I exit the next corner and overtake me wtf.

So I'm NOT crazy!! I know i'm not exactly an expert driver but I find that track to be absolute garbage. Normally if I hit/ am hit, i'll restart/rewind but on this track it's almost like bumper cars. During a time trial, it's a great track, otherwise

Yep, I've said it numerous time, Sidewinder may very well be the most beautiful track of the game. It's a shame that it's not integrated in the career as I don't really think to go there when I do some private AI race.

Only 107 McLaren F1 including all version were made according to wiki. Almost a quarter of the production in the same place at the same time !
I also just read on wiki that the Sultan of Brunei has 3 LM...

It's weird, I had read somewhere a while ago that at least one LM was destroyed (in an earthquake if I recall correctly) but I can't find anything on that.

Even more than 15 years after its introduction, I still think that it's one of most beautiful car in the world though. It has a timeless design. The F1 and F1 LM (which happen to be the versions that aren't in Forza :lol ) are the best ones IMO !

The F1 design may have copied a lot but it has never been equaled. That's why I don't really like the new MP4-12C. It feels uninspired and disproportionated.
I wish Gordon Murray would get back on a project like the F1 so that we could see what he could do with today's materials and technology !

I'm kind of double posting but this is a pretty cool time trial we just put up (especially if you are strapped for cash). Don't let the random 500 title scare you off, a few people here have won the normal random a few times (one even like 3 weeks in a row).

Here is the info:

We have a very special time trial qualifier going up today which will run for 7 days, starting today and ending on Tuesday May 11th. This will set the stage for next week’s exotic car pack is the DLC TT qualifier. This is open racers of all skill levels. This qualifier will lead straight into the DLC time trial on May 14th, you must place a time in this time trial to be eligible for the DLC time trial that is coming up.

The DLC TT time trial will feature an evolving prize pool which will be determined by the amount of users who participate. The prizes are higher for this set, top 10 drivers will receive 750,000 credits, top 100 will receive 500,000 cr’s and 500 random drivers will receive a credit prize of 500,000 credits! That’s not all though, for every thousand people that enter after we hit the 5,000 mark we will add another 500 people to that random pool.

There are many opportunities to win this week and all you need is a time to be registered.

What: Official Turn 10 Qualifier

Above number 8 and to the right slightly. I know there is supposed to be one 4 litre in there but a couple of those look more like LMs than GTOs. Either way, beautiful picture.
