As for getting stuck on a race, if it's in a championship normally just placing best you can should suffice. If not, you can always do it the next season in a different car :)

Although you can not pre-order the LCE online for store pickup at BestBuy.com, you CAN go into the store and pre-order the LCE for store pickup! I just did it!

Drats! I ordered mine online weeks ago and hoped the in store pickup would become available closer to release.

In Canada it is the other way around, unfortunately, since I want it on release day. EBGames/Gamestop it is (boo).

Forza Garage thing is almost a game in itself. They list the cars and we race off to google to see what cars they are. Achievement unlocked.


I'm off to bed. Hopefully we get some good news in the morning.

Because they are waiting for the demo to pass certification so they can announce the demo date without having to push it back if it doesnt pass.

It's the last of the Under the Hood segments where they tell us features are cut. From then on, it's all positive!

Lol..! It was a dig at Turn 10's marketing strategy, and not aimed at Forza's information-starved fans, of which I am most definitely one.

Being the car collector that I am I don't even know that it'll matter, I'll most likely buy the pack all the time.

Specially because of the homespaces the game will have.

I'll probably get the full packs in the beginning but when I come back to the game after a while it'll be nice just to pick up the couple cars I want.

How much for track DLC, BADNED? Does it depend on the track? Is Spa going to cost more than Donnington, for example? And the Forza Classics Track Pack, how much is that for all five tracks?

(if you say it, it will happen)

The lack of pics and direct feed videos didn't hurt GT5 sales and isn't going to hurt F1 2011 sales. In this regard I can't jump on T10s marketing.

I got more of an issue in regards to leaving questions unanswered because it suggests that a non existent feature actually exists.

And the fact that photomode is something that can be a marketing tool but isn't because of MS being cheap.

Slayer you mentioned compiling a list of features and things T10 an do to make their games better well my gaming racing friends and I were thinking of doing that after the GT5 vs Forza vid didn't pan out. But there's no use putting out a document when FM 4 was so close to release. Also we had our own design philosophies that might conflict with the FM series like car maintenance and race entrance fees. But a lot of the ideas were practical and doable. I'll have some time next week to scan through it and maybe I'll post some stuff here.

- Export high-res PhotoMode images through USB > 2400 MSP
- Replace Kinect Achivement with non-Kinect one > 1200 MSP
- Drivable Warthog > 800 MSP
- Enable sectors and split-times on all tracks > 800 MSP

Just fishing..

Aww yeah, won an auction for a good as new Fanatec Turbo S wheel. Owner just got it back from being repaired at fanatec but had bought a GT2 while waiting. 110e for a Turbo S, not a bad deal I'd say ;) no shifters or pedals, but I have a G25 and it has the adapter for the pedals so I'm set.
