thanks for your inquiry.
The RennSport Wheel Stand Shifter adapter is sold out and no longer in production. I´m so sorry.

But if you want to mount our Porsche Wheel Shifter Set on the Wheel Stand V2 you can do this with the included Shifter Adapter and the Steel tubes from the Shifter Set package.

Says "coming soon" on their website and they only have Carrera, GT2, and GT3 in the US shop.

Where did you get that picture? I don't see any image like that on the main page.

30fps was the price to pay to achieve that, still looks very smooth though.
Looks incredibly well made and immersive, kudos to Codemasters for using their F1 license in such a good way.

The Catalunya event looks awesome, world-class track (F1, MotoGP), hot cars, cockpits/wheels and triple-screen setups and Dan himself, let's hope the journalist will do a good job when they'll write about it.
Best way to promote a racing game is on a race track!
I understand now why their TGS presence is so minimal.

CONFUSION: when you start wondering why your wheel isn't responding
RAGE: when you realize it's a kinect only demo.

Did you get the 'L' shaped bracket for the rods with you wheelstand? I only received the baseplate for attaching the Logitech shifters. Without the bracket I can't see any way to attach the 'chopsticks' that come with the shifters.

That means we will start taking pre-orders for these products until supply lasts.

The CSR Elite has just passed the technical approval of Microsoft so we can start the production of this model in a few weeks as well as the CSR pedals and the CSR Pedal Inversion kit.

The CSR Elite became a new colour scheme with rubber coating on the full wheel rim and on the back cover.

We also released the first pictures of the CSR pedals which will be introduced in a dedicated video very soon. "

yup, didn't want to say that in hope to avoid bad luck, but that's what i thought as well.
if impressions are embargoed, then it's not a demo we're waiting for today.

or maybe impressios are embargoed for the preview code, which contains stuff that has to be revealed, while letting people race a few laps of tsukuba in a suzuki swift doesn't concern T10.

assuming there's even anything coming today, that is.

I've given up on the idea of the 500MB+ thingy being the demo, however I wonder what kind of large video it could be because thats the only other thing I can think of it being.

A few weeks...I don't know whether to flog my GT2 now and use my kid's DriveFX or hold onto the GT2 until I've got the CSRE, ah well shouldn't be long either way.

Nope. I think that's specific for that adapter set that's out of production.

I might have to talk with friends to fabricate a piece or something. I hate how the shifter wobbles when shifting and caused me to not use it all (that and I kind of suck and have been trying to learn). Maybe I'll just see how the CSS turns out with it's mounting options. I couldn't imagine those dinky tubes holding that bad boy up.

Spa is good. Maybe I'm just salty after running 400 laps on the thing. At any rate, the shorter variants are much better the longer ones.

No demo pisses me off more than anything at this point. I'm completely fine with tracks and cars and features in the game that I know of and any extra is just icing on the cake ... but the weekend man! It's my birthday tomorrow and it should spent drunk driving damnit!

Ok, i'm interested in the these fanatec wheels but OMG $$$$. I already have 3 wheels (Driving Force, G25, and MS Wheel) so I probably need to do some selling but has there been ANY progress on getting any other wheels to work to work on 360? Quite frankly I'd be happier if I could get my Driving Force to work on 360 just so I wouldn't be stuck with the lousy MS wheel.

There is a Madcatz wheel with force feedback also coming out at some point

If we are indeed in for a demo-free weekend with barely a sniff of any new media, then so be it.

To take my mind off it I'm heading up to Rockingham with some buddies for two days of BTCC action with full Dunlop hospitality, pit access, fast cars, free booze, semi-naked chicks, helicopters and fine food, divided down the middle with a big night out in the crazy metropolis of Loughborough.

Hopefully by Monday SOME fucking new media would have materialised.

There was some adapter that "could" make the Logitech wheels work but it was trash. I had my Carrera wheel (Fanatec for PC/PS3) and was looking into a cheaper alternative, but having to buy a WIRED 360 controller for $30 and the adapter for $70-80 and then pay shipping that was like $20, I was 1/2 way to a GT2 already and the usuability was shit. It basically just mapped controller buttons so it was like using the pad or something.

Fanatec is making some serious coin off of Microsoft's design decisions. I've personally spent $700 and it will be another $100 for the cs shifter.

Yep, I've spent £450 with Fanatec recently and over a grand in total getting my racing rig ready for Forza.

It better not be utter shite now! :lol

Carrera Wheel for GT5 ($160)

Couldn't use on 360 ... soo ...

GT2 for Forza 3 and 3.5 (doinrite.gif) ($250)
Rennsport Wheelstand ($130)
Clubsport Pedals *Soon!* ($200)

And I'll probably pick up the shifter once mounting options are shown.

I don't think you can. They aren't up in the US store yet. Maybe in other regions? Who knows, their website is really a joke. If I didn't know from others they were quality products I'd probably have never ordered from them.
