I was so hoping to see more of Silent Hills at E3
Subtle port beg
You can't kill what's already dead.So Konami has just committed suicide.
.. but... what about Silent Hills?
@PCBrown
In regards to the Kojima Productions news and Silent Hills: that game is part of a deal between Del Toro and Konami, not Kojima.
Guys. What if?

So this is Kojima's last MG?
End of a saga for sure.
Why are they so mad at Kojima, though?
Where are you getting that from?this is like... the ONLY actual franchise to give enough profits for Konami to still exists after abandoning Sillent Hill and Castlevania, how are they thinking they will exist???
Holy fuck. The end of an era for sure.

Sounds like this is part of a major shift with Konami to just bailout on consumer video games. Either that or their big wigs decided they don't like having their game directors speaking for themselves in public so they just canned them all. I think the first is more likely.
Still getting made, apparently.
Where's the Konami just shot themselves in the foot post. Come on guys, you're slacking.
Kojima is bigger than Konami at this point, their loss.
Wow, this is fucked up. Konami has officially signed their death warrant. Do you think the company will survive with Kojima?
Well that's that then.
He would have to start his own independent studio (unless he wants to retire) I don't see anywhere else he could go that isn't a major step down from the position he's held for so long.
Meaning Silent Hills will now get the same shitty treatment as Konami has given the franchise over the years.Still getting made, apparently.
So Kojima's Metal Gear canon ends with TPP.
We'll have Konami's hot shit afterwards. It will suck to see the MGS legacy being ruined though.
Guys. What if?

I want Sony to to this...it would be glorious.Sony would move heaven and Earth to pick Kojima up and give him a team. Microsoft too.
