Also, not really a spoiler since the official Genshin twitter already mentioned this, but Baal is in 2.1 and is definitely spear user. RIP everybody's savings, including my own. Now I might have to re-eval going for Yoimiya C1. I guess it's up to RNG and how long it takes to get me my first copy.

So I tried using Wings of Descension that I got today from linking my PSN to my PC/Mobile account earlier, and it locks you out from using them if you aren't playing on Playstation. I had it equipped on Eula and when I moved to PC she had the starter black wings equipped, but they were still showing in my inventory as if I had them.

Agreed, that's probably top 3 quests for me in the game so far. I love the subtle lore you can get from scanning on those kitsune statues too, they're all over the place. For a lore nerd like myself this whole nation has been wonderful.

They should've just made this event to open up gradually. With how they love to drip feed , this time around they somehow made you to rush towards the most faraway island almost immediately. Yes, you can do it later, at your own pace etc. but why we should even have this problem in the 1st place? Bad design decision imo

They did the same damn thing with Dragonspine, which pissed me off. They frontloaded the event and the crimson wishes in a way so that you felt like you were getting behind the curve unless you grinded out leveling your tree right away, instead of just exploring the area at your leisure. Like you said, with time gating and drip feeding that they contsantly do, I don't know why they wouldn't give us a week or two to just explore and do quests and shit. The funny thing is that you know by the end of the patch we're going to have 2-3 events of dubious quality like "Never-ending battle", and the very last week will be completely dead with no BP missions or anything, like usual. Stupid game direction.

All the other black stuff shouldn't go "on top", I hate it when artists do that; the black is an endoskeleton underneath her antimagnetic(protects against EMPs) skin .

I also am finally coming around to Baal's design. It's relatively simple at first, and I still wish her hair would unfurl from her braid during her burst, but it's grown on me a lot since her leak reveal where she looked like a generic NPC.

Man, I really like her design.Well, Sara confirmed as 4*. Thank god. After Kokomi got moved to 5* I thought I was going to have to deal with another one. The boob square doesn't look half as bad in game as it does in the T-posed leak model.
Also, she's a Kujo, so I'm gonna simp hard.

I wonder what that means for the banners. Is Baal coming in 2.1, as the banner right after Yoimiya? Then after that the hydro girl + Sara to encourage people to spend on a comparatively less interesting 5 star? That's what I'd assume. Or will they sprinkle a few re-runs inbetween?

I thought we'd be getting some kind of Liyue festival next patch, but that doesn't seem likely if they're going all-in on Inazuman characters.

On one hand - cool, I always thought it felt weird that there wasn't fishing that wasn't bear-fishing.
On the other... by experience in another gacha, it will be an insane, boring, frustrating grind.

It's actually quite fun and interesting in that other game. I've enjoyed it in small bursts.
But the amount of grind needed to get to the max (to unlock a character) is absolutely INSANE.

Pulled for Ayaka because I really liked the way she played in the trial (I like her Samurai aesthetic and moveset), but I ended up getting a Diluc dupe instead. Not bad at all!
And now I'll have a guaranteed Ganyu dupe on her banner. Pretty happy about that. Shame about Ayaka but whatever - I have Ganyu (and Aloy coming up) so I didn't really need another Cryo 5-star.
