Well, I’m usually pretty harsh on cosplays because the faces are usually so shopped and computer enhanced they look fake and it just turns me off, but Alice Delish really delivers here, the photos are older, but new to me.
She’s insanely beautiful and the costume is great too lol

In game related news I ended up building up that free copy Candice, mostly because i had nothing to do and when I looked into it I saw she’s one of those “easy to build” characters that really just wants a bunch of HP, and well, she looks nice too hahahah

Three new areas:

• Chasca's tribe
• Citlali's tribe
• Abandoned city ruins inhabited by dragon

With those new areas come new Saurians (predictably a flying one, and an owl/bat-looking thing that can reveal hidden paths etc.) and a new boss, which looks a bit lazy. It's a weird tree(?) that changes shape to become other bosses like Maguu Kenki and the electro seahorse. I guess I can cut them some slack after all these years of unique bosses. No sign of Pyro traveler, and I don't believe we're getting a weekly boss yet either.

Banners are Chasca and Lyney with Ororon, followed by Neuvillette and Zhongli. I feel bad for anyone who's interested in going for Neuvi's catalyst.

Overall seems like a solid update. It will be interesting to see who they tease for 5.3.

Adding more and more characters while using the same system to offer these characters is getting really frustrating for me personally.

Only once did I try pulling a 5-star weapon for Nilou. Took me ~200 (!!) pulls while getting Nahida's weapon two times before I finally got the one for Nilou. About a year ago I started saving for Hu Tao's weapon and when I finally had enough pulls, with which other character does she get offered? Nahida again. So I could either risk getting Nahida's weapon a third time or wait for who knows how long for a rerun of Hu Tao (most likely ~ 1 year).
Shenhe's last rerun was 15 patches ago, thats more than 1,5 years. Ganyu's last rerun was only 1 patch later. It just baffles me that hoyolab thinks its the way to go to not offer certain characters for way more than a year.

I can only assume they do this on purpose to fuel fomo and encourage spending. If not, they're truly incompetent. Lyney getting his second rerun before Wrio even gets his first is wild.

IMO they should just loosen the restrictions on the Chronicled Wish banner and whip those out 3 ~ 4 times a year. Problem solved. Or just have characters available on a temporary banner on their birthday.

Still not sold on Chasca. The character demo will be where I decide about her. I'll probably wait until we get some 5.3 Mavuika leaks to see how busted her constellations are before I do any rolling anyways. Glad we are getting some new areas, I'm really tired of the same 5 Natlan daily comissions at this point.

I really thought that new banner type was going to be rerun once a patch with national characters progressing in order. Like first one was Mondstadt, then next would be Liyue (Shenhe/Ganyu included), then Inazuma, etc etc. But they seem to have given up on that banner altogether. Wish they'd just make it a permanent rotation and switch it to blue wishes, that'd be ideal. I am fully aware they will never actually do that, though.

At least they dropped one of the fate points from the weapon banner, it used to be much much worse.

Or just have characters available on a temporary banner on their birthday.

That's actually a pretty cool idea. At least then you know it'd be once a year and you could plan for it. Probably unlikely that they'd do it, but a cool idea nonetheless.

It's crazy to me that Lyney is on his 3rd banner appearance when Wrio and even Cloud Retainer haven't had a single rerun yet. Like who the fuck is pulling Lyney right now? Who starts the game and is like "Where is that pantyhose twink at, I NEED him!" Nevermind Shenhe and Ganyu's rerun black hole.

I'm really glad I C6'd Shenhe back when she first released with how they've treated reruns. Wish I'd have done the same for Cloud Retainer now, honestly. Watch them rerun Shenhe/Ganyu/Cloud Retainer alongside Mavuika and just destroy waifu players. It's extra crazy that they sold Shenhe/Ganyu outfits last lantern rite and never reran the characters so that you could use them.

Sounds like she has some issues and will probably rely heavily on future supports to boost her. Probably an easy skip at least for now.

Chasca is a skip, though not gonna lie, her traversal mechanic looks pretty damn good.

Gonna need to see what Maviuka will bring to my teams first, but most likely she'll be my next pull.
