Anyone have any tips for shrooms? I'm going to be doing them here very shortly (within the next couple of weeks) and I was wondering if there's anything I should do to prepare.

On my last acid trip I went for my first walk in the woods behind the house. It was really something else seeing the wind blow through the meadow on a distant hillside and the light breaking through the treetops. Oh, and the colours obviously. Getting lost halfway through wasn't so nice. I ended up on the backside of some peoples' houses and could even see them, but I was too scared to talk to them because... they'd figure out what was going on. When I checked my phone I noticed how the screen had molten and all the icons and everything were kind of spilling over the frame but I could still touch them so yeah... that was confusing. I eventually found the way back home and spent the night listening to Aphex Twin and looking at caleidoscopic images next to some hardcore soul searching.

I have my degree in chemical engineering and I work as a process engineer. It's still a relatively new job for me. Not hugely rewarding yet, because I pretty much have to complete my projects and sprint to keep up with or contribute to the conversations the people actually running the show are having, but the more I learn the more I enjoy showing up every morning.
There definitely was a while where I literally thought to myself "I would be happier cleaning fish at a seafood restaurant than doing this." Sometimes I think I would, actually. There's something rewarding about completing a task like that, which is primarily the kind of work I've had before I started interning. Hopefully I get to the point where my actual engineering work becomes as satisfying as my physical work was.
But more relevant: my job puts me in contact with a lot of fun people, provides me with an income, and most importantly entertains me throughout the day. Getting stoned was awesome, and if there weren't random drug screenings I'd definitely still smoke on the weekends, but in terms of trade offs it was a pretty obvious choice.

So... a friend got her hands on some shrooms. Stored it in her fridge for two days before eating it. It was her first time taking psilocybes (I was there to make sure she's OK) but in the end she experienced nothing. Well, except for sligh nausea. Needless to say, she was very disappointed.
The shrooms were from a trusted source, so what went wrong? Do shrooms go bad and lose all the good stuff in them that quickly?

No. It depends on how much she ate first of all. They don't go bad in mere days. They can stay potent for years if stored certain ways.

I've recently discovered a love for Forza (a series I'd never been too interested in). Playing that game in cockpit view while I'm baked really bows my mind.
Halo is also really cool when baked (think it has something to do with the pretty colours and floaty jump).

I'm really appreciative and analytical of great level design when I get high, I've noticed. I'm playing Sonic 2 right now and it's just fantastic.
So I've had an idea on how to clean my grinder, and was wondering if anyone has done this before.
It's seen a solid 2 years of use, and there is loads of trapped keif in the threads and at the edges of the gauze that is impossible to get, even with a fine brush, so I was considering taking it apart and leaving it sitting in alcohol. The idea is the grinder comes out as good as new, and I'm left with a few keif-infused vodka shots.
My only worry is that there is more keif than I anticipated and I end up getting far more wasted than I would like.
Anyone ever done this or something similar? Any advice?

What I usually do is soak the individual parts of the grinder in a 97% isopropyl alcohol solution for about half a day. Shake vigorously in a plastic bag. Then pour the mix out into a paper plate and wait a day for all the alcohol to evaporate. Put it under a fan if you want it to evaporate faster. Then you're left with some grinder hash that you can top a bowl with or just smoke itself.
I wouldn't recommend soaking it in booze and doing shots. Not only does it sound gross but I'm 90% sure you won't get high from that at all. AFAIK the process to make a tincture is more involved. Isopropyl is cheaper than vodka anyway.

Yeah. I have a MicroG for concentrates, too. Very handy. Not a nice as some, but solid build and easy to replace parts if they break. Coils are only 20 for a new one, too.

My MFLB is starting to wear. It'll need to be replaced soon. Hopefully it's under warranty.
If not I'm interested in one of those Pax Vaporizers. Could change everything...again.
I can't believe the positive impact vaporizing has had on my intake. I mean, first of all vaping is more pleasant than smoking, at least to me. However, that's only the beginning. It's more efficient in general since you're not burning the product. But, the real kicker is, the ABV (already-been-vaped) product gets a second use via edibles.
I have made some powerful firecrackers using only ABV. It's astounding. Must have something to do with decarboxylation.
