The percolator cools the smoke and allows it to rise more evenly through the bong. You have to consider the amount of holes in your diffuser and how that impacts the amount of bubbles created and the potential for introducing drag if the percolator isn't designed correctly. How many holes are on these stem percolators you're looking at?
I have a friend who swears by the showerhead design and I agree they are really nice to use. I personally like inline percolators. They don't create drag and seem to humidify the smoke well enough for me. I haven't tried the stem percolators, but assume they are not as effective as either a showerhead or inline design.
Is that more helpful than my previous snarky response? I shouldn't indulge and then post.

Worst place to keep it. The trichs freeze and then become brittle and the heads(part that gets you high) break off. Freezing buds should only happen if you're making ice wax or ice water hash.
Best place is in a dark closet in a glass mason jar.
Concentrates are ok to keep in the fridge, though. Shatter stays table longer if you keep it in the fridge.

This album was a great year for music and for music while high. Pretty much all my favorite albums this year can get a lot better with some green. It's like everything gets a little bit better high, but some things get a lot fucking better, they are all in the latter category.
Got a Volcano for christmas, have been using it every day since. This thing is a fucking godsend -- even after three or four bags, everything in the bowl is still light colored and fresh. It's like magic.
Why don't more vaporizers only heat the substance for a few seconds? I don't know if my PAX is ever going to be used again, if only because it's so wasteful. One volcano bag does more for me than a full PAX chamber ever did, and I kept at it until everything in the chamber was black.

Yup. I'm trying to figure out how many bags I can get out of the bowl. I go from 366 up to 378/380 in 2s (366, 368, 370, so on) and I'm not sure if I'm getting something out of it or not by the end, but everything is still a nice brown color and to me it looks like it still has some more to go but I'm not sure. To get a good high I got through 5 bags at least and that is some good feels but at the same time feels like I'm not really saving any and more like going through my stash too fast. Kind of conflicted on how much I like this thing.

I usually can't finish one before the ~10 minutes it takes to dissipate are up. I did have some problems with it earlier, though -- are you sure you have the cap screwed on tight enough, and there's no bends/holes in the copper filter? And you're seeing a very dense and visible vapor go into the bags?
I smoke a lot lol, yeah everything works fine and the vapor is dense and visible, not super dense but dense. After all of those bags the stuff is still brown.

Meh, as a long time Coloradan weed enthusiast I really don't care that it's legal. If anything I'm kinda pissed, prices are WAY higher in stores than my usual shit (I get good stuff for $30 an eighth, the dispensaries that me and my friends have visited range from $65 to $110 an eighth for similar THC content weed) and the dealers will realistically follow suit. Also cops will probably be more wary of people driving under the influence of weed, which sucks since being reasonably high enhances my driving ability rather than impairing it. Other than that, nothing has changed really, a town very close to me was the first to decriminalize weed and it's always been widely accepted among the townsfolk.

Don't you think the price will go down over time? Just recently I got 2 8ths in a buy one get one sale. The 2 times I was in maggies farm dispensaries they said they thought it would almost go down in half because of all the sales coming their way. They are not recreational sale yet but it was good to hear. Also with it being legal the price has to come down once the initial new wears off of the stuff and real invested people learn how to grow at home.
If your driving is better high then what would they be pulling you over for? Very rarely do cops pull you over for being good at something.
To me also being a coloradoan, I think its a good thing that we are the first. Shit loads of taxes generated already. We are also showing the other states and old fucks that run them that it can be done and there is a ton of money here if you take the chance to legalize it.

To be honest, not really. I'm still going to renew my medical card, anyway. Cheaper prices and a wider selection of dispensaries to purchase from.
I live in Colorado Springs, which is banning legal sales, anyway, so medical will still be the way for me to go. I could drive up to Denver to buy legally if I wanted to, but I'd rather stay here in my own town.
Getting a medical card is such a simple process, anyway, that if you're serious about your MJ it still makes sense to get a script. I do actually have legitimate reasons to use cannabis medicinally, but I have plenty of friends in perfect health that have cards, too.
I don't even smoke anymore, I vape wax and consume edibles exclusively now. I'll only toke off a bowl if a friend offers it, or something.

Looking around, there are a lot of choices for vaporizers. Some are more discreet (small or disguised use), some use convection (hot air) vs. conduction (heating element), some are really expensive ($250), some require cleaning to maintain performance, some have internal batteries that can be used while charging or not, some take longer to heat, etc. I can give you a comprehensive list if you’d like, but factoring everything together, I think the Magic Flight Launch Box offers the best overall package.

The poster above me suggested the MFLB, but I'm going to argue against and suggest a Palm 2.0. They're both tiny and discrete, except mine (I think) is sturdier and has less chance of breaking. The Palm 2.0 is made of clear plastic, whereas the MFLB is of wood. Mine has a hinge, while his is a sliding piece of glass. Although they're priced roughly the same, you probably won't find a good deal for the Palm 2.0 like posted above.

Let me also suggest a Vapor Genie. It's priced at between 50 to 70 dollars. It's sort of if you still like the feeling of lighting and smoking, which for some is all the fun of getting medicated. It's certainly one of my favorite smoking devices.

How is the MFLB compared to something like the atmosRX? I did see that its not a 100% vapor but combusts the bud to some extent. Not a big deal but would like a more discrete device than the launch box and the pricing on ebay looks cheaper - found the AtmosRX for herbs around $40 on there.

No experience with anything other than the MFLB for vaping.
That said, it doesn't really combust the bud unless you hold down the battery and let the heat build up on the same spot for a prolonged period. Once you know how to hit it properly and learn to shake the trench every hit or so you won't have much of an issue with combustion.

Best pipe investment i've made. Cheap, effecient, durable. Been using mine for about 2-3 years now. My only downside to it is 3/4 of my rechargeable batteries have died after a year or so

Well it was an ebay version so I am thinking against it even more since it seems to be a ripoff. But there was a shit video of this guy saying you could order these type of vaporizers from japan and get your name on them if you order 2000 of them. Might just be those kinds like the GPen I dont know.

Not that the vaporizing vs combusting is that big of a deal for me but it seems like the MFLB is the better device all around. Not a fan of how it has a battery just hanging out of the side of it but maybe there is a way to mod it so the battery lays along the bottom or something a bit more sleek and pocket friendly.

Just buy medical and there are less taxes. I get medical 1/8s for $25, $30, or $35. As far as I am concerned every smart Coloradan will buy medical and let the tourists buy the expensive, "non-medical" buds. Simple.

The battery isn't really a big deal. It goes in almost all the way and stays locked in position. You just press down hard for the battery to touch the circuit. I would say it's pocket friendly.
