I've been thinking about getting a relatively inexspensive vape for my birthday in a few months. Any recommendations and/or advice?
A friend asked me the same question. This is what I sent him.
Looking around, there are a lot of choices for vaporizers. Some are more discreet (small or disguised use), some use convection (hot air) vs. conduction (heating element), some are really expensive ($250), some require cleaning to maintain performance, some have internal batteries that can be used while charging or not, some take longer to heat, etc. I can give you a comprehensive list if you’d like, but factoring everything together, I think the Magic Flight Launch Box offers the best overall package.
This is the cheapest price I’ve found, $80 for the basic set:

For portable use, just use the batteries it comes with. You can buy standard retail high-mAh batteries, but you have to peel off the covers, or repurchase batteries from blissville when you need them. But get this at some point for home use:

Getting a vape that contends with ones costing 3X as much, uses replaceable rechargeable batteries, can be used with very little product and is easy to fill, doesn’t need meticulous cleaning, is pocketable, heats in seconds and is immediately ready for reuse, lifetime warranty, all for $80 makes it the winner in my opinion.
