Is there a Fry's on the East Coast? I am sick of hearing of all of these awesome deals and not being able to participate.

They use insanely low prices like these as "doorbusters" to draw people into the store, the idea being that once they're inside they'll end up buying other items with higher profit margins. I know it works on me - I can't go to that place without spending like $100 minimum. It's ridiculous!

bobby speaks the truth. The time I went before yesterday, I only intended to buy a game, but left with an iPod. Yesterday, I left with a DVD movie. The first time I ever went, I left with a portable DVD player.

I've been jobbed by Fry's more than once. They sold me a refurbed PalmVx back in the day, whose screen was broken, and then when I took it back they said they wouldn't give me another b/c "you probably broke it," I spoke to the fucking manager and finally fucking left when they were basically going to get security to escort me out (though I hadn't done anything but talk about how they shouldn't treat their customers like this). There were one or two other things before too where they were just pains in the asses. Just pray that whatever you buy you get very cheap and never have to go back there.

Fuck Fry's, I'll just go to BB, tyvm.

When was that Astro? It seems that Fry's service, IMO, is very good. (Except on very busy business days: more people than the employees can accomindate)

It may just have to do with whatever store you're at, but mine were at the stores in Phoenix a few years ago.
