Yikes... those faces are pretty embarrassing.

Hahaha! No! He could only possibly mean Vegas.
Yes
Yes
Seems the same as the beta. AR's are beastly.
Yes, though not all of them.
Its the kind of sacrifice you would expect a dev to make to hit 60fps, but it isn't. I don't even think its a solid 30.
Anyone play Siege mode and want to compare to old school Ghost? I played no respawns in the original Ghost as was as the 1st Advanced Warfighter via attack and defend mode a TON. Like sucked my life away a lot.
Main thing is I hate this series in terms of online with any sort of respawn option on. It's just not what I gravitate to this series for. That being said if nobody is playing no respawn games then I'll wait for the bargain bin (which I might do anyways as this game seems to have bargain bin all over it for better or for worse).
Awful cutscenes and dialogue, dreadful "escort the VIP" sections, clumsy/awkward civilian NPCs, shoddy visuals. My opinion is that it wouldn't be worth full price for the single player alone.
The game isn't terrible, but it's nothing like what I expected. It's also rediculously easy, even on the hardest difficulty.
The problem with synch shots is the same problem with mark-and-execute in Splinter Cell Conviction - its not so much a tool that you can use to get through a scenario, its that the scenarios are designed completely around its use. Scenarios aren't open ended for you to solve in your own way as much as they are mini-puzzles, perfectly built to have you use your synch-shots or else designed in such a way that synch-shots won't work.I pretty much agree with this. Although the biggest reason I say not to throw down 60 bucks on it, is the SP is waaay, way to easy, even on the Elite difficulty. Now, I could see someone who hasn't been into the series in the past, getting into it, just because its so accessible, but dang, its basically sit back and watch your team take everybody out through the whole mark and execute thing.
Siege rounds go pretty quickly, not much strategy was shown in the matches I played so far, might be that people don't really know how to play yet and/or the maps may be too small

It feels better in co-op only because you have to communicate more to pull off the same end result, and there are more chances for fucking up and thus more risk.
Ugh. I have it bought and unopened. Buddy wants to play tonight, but I'm still not sure. The biggest one on that list that bugs me is the server issues from the beta are still here. Why was there a beta then? I don't want to have to have lock ups, and be forced to dashboard non stop to get into a game that is laggy as balls, then not get to respawn so I have to dashboard again.
Whoa theres a Kendrick track in this game? You may have just sold me a copy lol.Did anyone hear Kendrick Lamar's "War is my Love"? It's supposedly a track for this game and it's pretty good. Kendrick is great.
maps were my biggest worry during the beta.I was worried about this.
What issues are you having? Feel free to report them, because we've done a lot to iron out bugs since the months-old beta build. http://twitter.com/redstorm or http://ubisoft-live-team.polldaddy.com/s/ghost-recon-future-soldier-bug-report-form
Take Majik's response with a grain of salt. Rifles have been changed since the beta, the grenade's blast radius has been reduced (there have been complaints about it being a "stun grenade" on the official forums), and we're not seeing any widespread server issues.

What's the length and replayability for the campaign?
Including up to four player co-op throughout the campaign, which can mix up replays.10-12 hours
decent replayability with lots of optional challenges for each mission to unlock guns/attachments, etc
It's in the soundtrack not sure about the game but it's a great song it's on YouTube not sure how to link on my iPad.Whoa theres a Kendrick track in this game? You may have just sold me a copy lol.

Nobody else bored to tears with the Campaign? I feel obligated to beat it for the Uplay points, trophies and because I wasted my free redbox rental on it =/
was about to use my free rebox rental on this... so its not worth it? lol
Lol had a match where I melee killed maybe 10 or so people.

You may enjoy it, but here lemme sum it up for you so far - "sync shots".
There you go.
So how did the PC version of this turn out?
No not for a few weeks. Same as every other game these days.Is it even out yet? No way I would have bought it on 360 if it was.
Pretty sure, yes.Online pass?

So apparently your AI ghost teammates can easily fire through multiple buildings and walls to get their synch shot. Good to know.
And they have no problem sprinting mere inches in front of an enemy guard without being detected, whereas I got spotted through a fence.
Enemy AI awareness seems at times to be random. I can clear one area of casually patrolling guards only to move into the next to find a dozen or more on full art, criss-crossing every yard of space looking for something, all while a helicopter circles 30 feet off the ground. It can be pretty hard to take this game seriously at times.
And a Pro Tip: Those spots in the game where it waits for you to stack up at a door or other objective? Don't do it unless you're the last one in your team that the game is waiting for. Twice now I've stacked up only to wait forever for one or more of the allied AIs to join us - which never happens. Of course once you're in this mode there is nothing for you to do besides go back to the game menu and restart from the last checkpoint.
At this point I'm not feeling much joy in playing through the campaign. Its decent, but so far holds no high points that didn't happen as a result of something inconsequential as holding the X button. Not even aiming mind you, just holding the button.
Please tell me Guerilla mode is the saving grace here.
Then again maybe I'm just hard to satisfy after playing through Max Payne 3. Its more than possible. ;P
Damn, why don't they include a challenging difficulty setting? Even COD has veteran mode. This sounds like Conviction all over again.

JackEtc said:]Played some more of the campaign. Still having fun, but some parts have been really frustrating, for the most part because in a few specific places, my friendly AI seemed just to break, and cause me to restart from a checkpoint far back.
Like on the night mission on/in the xxxxxxxxx and you have 3 groups of around 5-6 soldiers each that you have to stealthily make your way through group by group, and then run about 200m to a "regroup" spot. I cleared out the first group, and my AI teammates just stayed in cover where they were, taking super long shots from back where they were for any of the sync shots I set up. Then, when I got to the regroup spot, and looked back, they still wouldn't move from their original spots. I had to restart the entire sequence.
Another time was on the (rainy) mission where you are xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I got on my spot to breach one of the two doors into a room, and one AI teammate comes over and stands next to me. Then nothing, the other two teammates are NOWHERE to be found. I waited at the door for like 3 minutes, but it wouldn't let me do anything. Again, I had to restart from a checkpoint.
Anyone else have any issues like these?

Character models and textures are really unimpressive.
What happened with the graphics? Before they scrapped the game and started again in a more realistic way they released a demo that looked great.
This is the video I'm talking about. Youtube video quality doesn't help, but the video looked great in 1080p, they released it on PSN if I'm not mistaken.
Is that video a good indication of how the game plays? Because I've been wanting to check Future Soldier since I saw this video way back in E3 2010.
I didn't try the beta as my backlog is already big enough.
