I had a feeling that Brad would not have the same enthusiasm for a Souls game if he played it without guidance or the benefit of years of internet knowledge. Playing a souls game at launch vs playing it 2 years later is almost like playing two different games.

Brad is really overestimating their completion of the game. I'd say they're maybe
% of the way through. I also feel like they're having way more trouble than they should since they're sticking to this one train of thought in terms of gear. DS2 wants you to be a little more versatile with some bow action or magic. You can definitely greatsword/havel hamfisting your way through, but it's much tougher as evidenced in their run.
I doubt Brad is going to play DS2 for awhile and I'm not sure Vinny will finish it either. I guess time will tell.

Eh. It will have to have some pretty massive upgrades to get me to double dip. I suppose many will be excited, but development resources would be better spent on a new project. Just can't imagine blowing upwards $40-60 to re-experience that story again so soon.
Then again I have held off on GTAV for a next-gen port, so I suppose people that haven't experienced LoU have a good reason to be excited if true.

They play a section that is relatively far in (although without context it's probably hard to know what's going on), and they talk about quite a few plot points including the ending. I'd recommend not watching it.

I don't mind the FFX spoilers but do they go deep into FFX2 spoilers? Because I never played that and am looking forward to it.
No, it doesn't seem like they got very far into FF10-2, if at all.

I laughed a good few times at how Rorie and Brad just stumbled their way into spoiling some pretty major plot points of FFX. It was just so casual, Brad just rummaging around in his brain asking 'Didn't this happen?' 'Oh yeah, and isn't that?' I wouldn't recommend watching if you haven't played FFX and intend to.
