OH MAN, RORIE GO PLAY ALPHA PROTOCOL

I love that game, and I've been debating reinstalling it the past two or three days. Go do it, Rorie! Play it all the way through!

Watching Breaking Brad Part 12. holy shit, the amount of real talk is kinda amazing. I think Brad and Vinny are bonding for real, lol

Is the chat busted? It's been down for me this whole time.

:o new version of gang beasts. I gotta get on that.

Finally, wood working.

Wow, this is still going on. I almost wish I bought one of these.

I'd let it sit, framed, next to my Tested poster behind my desk.

Anyone wanna paraphrase?
Possibility of BermanBraun also getting GB, but they didn't seem to know wtf they were doing with games, mentioned some comedian/actor getting involved (forget the name).

Jeff got some input in the sale and basically expressed he'd rather be part of a company that knew how to run a game site, but even if he didn't have a say, they'd probably end up at Gamespot anyways.

Rorie (and the rest of the crew?) didn't find out he was getting let go until towards the last minute. Was the last to find out about the sale.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Rorie's part has kind of been explained before, but it explains why he was really upset and salty about things for a while.

I missed this part. An actor/comedian? That sounds like a nightmare. Would he have been the Adam Savage of Giant Bomb?

This much was obvious and I'm still curious how things ended up being smoothed over between him and the rest of the guys. I would have burnt all kinds of bridges if I was in Rorie's position.

Brutal. Is that typical of buyouts? Seems kind of harsh. In any case I'm glad they didn't go with BermanBraun, Tested is pretty much dead to me outside of Dadcasts and Octobercast.

It probably had nothing to do with the GB guys themselves.... Well maybe except Jeff but still... It's business talk, no reason to hate on the editorial staff for that.
