Holy shit I just learned that episode 7 (the Kuroko parody) actually played the real Kuroko opening during the beginning recap, but crunchyroll took it out. Why!!!
Is there a clip of this? Did you mean the preview?

It does actually play in the preview as well:

But I was talking about the episode recap in the beginning on the very same episode. It plays the first Kuroko opening as well if I remember correctly.
Gintama certainly isn't at it's best at the beginning, but I feel like the introduction of the characters and the gags are important. Only episode I would skip completely is the first one, which was filler.

We need a reaction gif of that face he did, stat...
In all seriousness though, really don't like the focus on the kids lately.
I think this is pretty much the last chapter focused on him. The anime is jumping around a lot for the adapted chapters this time. These chapters weren't originally so close to each other.
Gintama 291
Mutsu reveal doesn't really surprise me, but where is her umbrella?
Once again Gintama has proved to have the most powerful, brutal, manly and overwhelming female characters.
if only other shounen anime would be like this.
The Yato stuff is like the last relic of the Amanto plot line and it only really matters in serious arcs with Kamui lol
Was this Arc the first time we've seen any aliens this season, come to think of it?
Even the dumb prince only get a mask cameo these days.
