Biollante is the real deal

she is cheap as fuck too. Took me 6-7 tries to beat her in mission mode with Space Godzilla

Is there actually a timer in God of Destruction mode? I heard it talked about yesterday but I haven't seen it, though I haven't played Hard yet.

Some of the harder missions have timers on them. However, if you want to get 100% destruction and all that jazz there's a way you can get around it. Destroy all but one generator, wait for the Kaiju to show up, and then destroy the generator. The timer goes away and you can destroy everything and get bonus objectives while the other Kaiju is still there.

Is there a move list anywhere in game? Also, when do I unlocked the Kaiju Encyclopedia? I only got to play for like an hour last night so I haven't finished my first playthrough of Gods of Destruction.

under "Help" in the pause menu. I've only been able to see the move set of the monster I'm playing as. Be sure to check it when you try a new Kaiju, most have unique abilities and moves

My younger self was absolutely awed at how Biollante towered over Godzilla.

Watching that movie in 2015 though, man, it's actually a pretty rough movie. It also has the biggest non-ending in Godzilla movie history.

Interestingly enough, the producer of the game Shunsuke Fujita told me that GvB is actually his favorite Godzilla film.

With nostalgia glasses it's one of my favorite in the franchise. On top of that, Biollante is still one of the most interesting monsters Toho has made and I think she's the best original monster of the Heisei era. I always get a little upset when she's portrayed as an "invading" or evil monster because that's not accurate. But man, without nostalgia glasses the end of the movie is rough.

Biollante shows up unexpectedly, apparently knows about the plan to raise Godzilla's body temperature to cause the anti-nuclear bacteria to work, causes Godzilla to pass out, Biollante returns to space, Godzilla wakes up because he passed out in cold water and then walks off. Literally nothing is accomplished at the end of the movie and Biollante, despite being basically immortal, never returns

So, just opened up the game. For those wondering, I got the Pal version, same for Italy and Portugal, at least the box includes descriptions in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

No pre-order here whatsoever, in any store, no stores were offering anything, but the game includes inside a code for Hollywood godzilla and the description on the panflet specifically says it's early unlock, so no worries if you don't get it.

I suspect anyone getting the game in Europe will get a code for it.

Ok so contacted Amazon(Canada) and they said that they had way more orders than expected. I ordered this at the time of e3 so they must have these on back order for like a month and she pretty much confirmed that thought.

Anyway she gave me 5 dollar credit thing which they usually do. I asked about the fact that I chose priority shipping for my entire e3 order. I said that if this happens again I won't be getting my value. She instantly refunded the priority shipping on my entire order so $35 but I will still have priority shipping.

So I don't have Godzilla for who knows how long But I saved $35 on my order and got a $5 credit. Not a bad consolation. First time I have ever chose priority shipping and I might not get the game for weeks lol.

. But I agree, 85 and Biollante were phenomenal. Also really like GMK, though it's not for the same generation as Biollante. Really liked the Heisei Gamera movies and loved their Godzilla movie.

Been playing this all afternoon and I'm having a ton of fun with it. Going up against a tag team of Super Godzilla and the Super X 2 was amazing.

I'm disappointed I haven't run into Kiryu yet. It's my favorite Mechagodzilla.

Godzilla 14 is so deliciously OP.

On that note, I need to mess with the volume levels a bit. Monster roars feel too quiet in this game.

Ran into Destroyah while playing as Anguirus and got completely demolished. Guy was 100m and just would not let up. Wasn't expecting the game to be too balanced but it would be nice if the stun locking was a little less frequent.

Apparently Jet Jaguar shows up on the first stage if you get to 60% destruction and destroy the generator ASAP. No idea if it's guaranteed though, gonna try it in a bit. Can't find anything on how to get Destroyah to show up again but one of the loading screen tips makes me think it is just random.

Just discovered a really powerful attack you can do with 90's Godzilla. When you tap L1+R1 for invincible roar, immediately do a charge attack and it will hit every time with no way for the other monsters to counter. It's an invincible charge.

I have fallen in love with this game. It's a budget title, But it's simple and pure fun, it's a joy to play and I'm constantly smiling.

Adult Mothra is awesome. The double tap L1 or R1 dodge is great in multiplayer. Game is so unbalanced, they clearly just gave everyone whatever moves they wanted and left it at that.

Is it weird that I'm almost glad they went that way? Balance is great for serious multiplayer titles, but I'd rather the monsters have their film moves/size and just call that good. I mean, Biloante should be tough because of her reach. Destroyah should be an offensive powerhouse.

Just confirmed how to encounter Jet Jaguar. Get 60% destruction and then destroy the generator as fast as possible in the first stage of God of Destruction mode. I was playing as normal Godzilla but not sure if it matters.
