I'm friends with the guy in FB (and to some extent in real life), and his posts aren't bothering me there, but it seems once he got into G+, he kinda got carried away, and posts some trivial stuff dozens of times a day. I haven't blocked his posts in FB, but if I'd want to, it would be far easier there.

Tried it since Friday but at the minute I only had 4 friends on it. The problem is that I felt a bt strained trying to use it knowing no one I know is really on it

Give it time I probably won't even sign up again as I hate FB's stance with privacy, but Google's is even worse

Just take him out of your circle for now then until they add the option to mute an entire circle. You can still see his posts in Incoming, like I said.

The fact that I've got only 15 people in G+ circles at the moment, makes his posts more visible, as they don't stand out as much in FB, where I've got much much more friends posting stuff. So, if/when more of my friends come to G+, the problem might go away by itself. =)

I hear you there. I have about 40-50 friends on there, and about 40 Gaffers as well, so my feed moves pretty fast now as it is. The circles will come in a lot more handy later, where I'll probably just look at updates from my friends circle by default.

Well it seems the mods are locking/deleting every other thread joking about/complaining about/referencing it.

This is the only google thread left, and I say fuck google for censoring our forum.

Obviously its up to him, but even he said he personally dislikes censorship, hes having his armed twisted here by Google.

So I don't see how its wrong for someone to dislike google for doing this. I mean we aren't talking about google restricting porn and illegal drug talk, they are restricting sex talk of all kind and drug talk (illegal, legal, or prescription) of all kind. For a forum full of adults that is pretty ridiculous.

I've lurked Neogaf for years before even getting this account, I love this forum and just because i'm a somewhat new poster doesn't invalidate my complaints.

You mean the forum that I use for FREE that exists due to the revenue that google ads generate for Evilore? Yeah I'm okay with it. I find the people whining about being "censored" far more annoying than being told that the forum is going to be kept SFW from now on.

Also, in case you are actually serious, Google isn't censoring anything. They have a policy that says if you wish to use their AdSense and AdWords services, your site needs to follow the guidelines of those services. No one is forcing Evilore to use Google AdSense, but he has decided that it is better to adopt Google's policies and keep the site accessible to his users FREE OF CHARGE. So no, I don't have a problem with his actions.

Could we not bring this crap into every Google thread? If you have a problem with not being able to post pictures of women you'll never have, discussing your lonely nights with drugs with people you don't actually know (I smoke regularly FYI), etc etc, then go elsewhere. The solution is simple.

Thread is getting shitted up really quick.

But on-topic, we should compile a list of useful Chrome extensions for G+. I've used several between both computers, but now I'm having difficulty finding them to install on whatever computer didn't have it.

Keep them in your bookmarks, and use something like Xmarks to sync between browsers and/or computers.

I think G+ hasn't done the Exclude Circle from Feed thing yet just because they want people to get used to sharing and participating. I'm sure they will soon, though.

Currently Google+ is in a limited field trial. You can ask for an invite here or just wait for it to open to the public.

Ya, that is pretty much my most wanted feature. I hope there is a way to separate shared articles from everything else though.
