After seeing mrklaw and TTG's posts, it seems like the Z06 is the way to go. It's significantly cheaper, both in cost of the car and the race mods, yet has similar performance to the ZR1. The ZR1 cost me around 600k to buy and modify while it seems like you can get a Z06 for under 300k.

What does racing modification actually mean? Is it just new bumpers or a package similar to the options you have in the tuning menu?

You buy it from the GT Auto option.
It adds lots of Horse Power and some parts. (You can tune them afterwards)

You can push them full red for a while, but if you keep it there or keep pushing they'll make mistakes. If he is in a pack of cars he'll naturally 'heat up'. You can try calming him down, but I usually try and get him past other cars into clear air where he can calm down on his own.

Pay attention to the course too. My driver will sometimes lose the back end a bit on particular corners, so I'll try and slow him down for those.

But another question regarding B-Spec: does the driver's skill go up according to my pushing him in one or the other direction or is it some kind of random evolution?

I don't know about the Z06, but the ZR1 definitely isn't that cheap to race mod or buy. The car itself costs over 100k and the race mod will cost 385k. I recently had to buy it, and it definitely does what you say. Although the LMP cars are still a nightmare to hold off. The other cars on track, like the Ford GT, are easy to destroy in that championship though.

The all stars race is as easy as pie with that car. I made some stupid mistakes at the nordschleife and was pushed to the back of the grid and still had a chance to get to 3rd place if it wasn't for that last mistake. The other races weren't a problem at all.




Funny thing I noticed. The paint applied to that car only shows on the front. My yellow, black and white car looks quite spiffy.

A. It's wouldn't be difficult to do technologically speaking, if there's a very strong demand, we could consider it maybe.

Q2. Can we have time control (fast-forward and rewind) in replay mode, it would be easier to take pictures this way?
A. I think so too.

Q3. How do you play GT5?
A. I use DFGT and controller (but I switched to analog stick)

Someone also seemed angry about the cars with the texture under the chassis from a miniature car. Yamauchi said something about old models that were created with the help from people at Autoart (a miniature car company I guess?)

Do you mean with your B-spec driver? Because I could imagine he would have problems with it. I was talking about myself and that was hard enough for me to believe a B-spec driver probably wouldn't pull it off.

The Furai is a great car, anyway. It's definitely one of the cars I would put up for the Premium treatment.

If I understand it correctly, you can either Gift a car, or share it online. If you share it online, others can use it but can't sell it and you can 'unshare' it to be able to drive it yourself again. But if you gift it, the receiving party can do as he please, as you've just found out.

Perhaps someone can confirm, I haven't tested sharing online first. Pretty sure that's what it does though.

I wish I had more races to use that in. I actually really like it but it's underpowered compared to some of my other cars so I rarely use it.

People need to shut the fuck up about bikes. Its a DRIVING simulator ffs and its got enough problems for PD to clean up as it is so we certainly don't need any of the devs attention shifting to shitty bikes.

I was gonna save up and buy the Zonda to do a that 2nd Extreme Race and another one in Professional where my Mclaren F1 Stealth Mode just doesn't have enough HP to keep up

Can the Zonda be upgraded to 900+ HP or is it a waste of money? I think my Mclaren is just about at 800 HP.

It's nice that Kaz is trying to communicate with the fans but this (plus pre-release stuff) just accentuate the fact that PD needs to hire someone to be a community manager.

Skid Recovery ON, TC at least at 2.

You have to take advantage of the fact that you can brake later than the AI cars and in the 1st chicane you can do it full speed while AI brakes heavily. If you use this you can overtake:

1) 1 car on the 1st corner
2) 2 cars on the 1st chicane
3) 1 car on Chicago
4) 2/3 cars on Hammerhead
5) 1 car on the straight before Bacharach (if you only overtook 2 in Hammerhead)
6) 1 car on Gambon
7) You have to be 4th at the start of the 2nd lap (2/3 secs behind 1st), then you can overtake the 3rd on the 1st corner, the 2nd on the 1st chicane and if you're lucky you can overtake the 1st on Hammerhead, if not there is still a chance on Gambon.
