try the first hanger you get... i pulled it in and it glitched two of them (that exploded when I touched one) but after that it was fine.
btw, the military fighter jet fits in there perfectly.
Not much of a spoiler unless there's more to come later. I'm about half done the main missions.Just pick up stranger/freaks at the ? marks as Trevor. I've encountered two so far, where they tell you they need to get to some place and the game tells you that Trevor is also able to drop them off at the cult instead. I always go to the cult
I think one of these guys was around pretty early on in getting Trevor.
It's not a stranger/freaks question mark mission that triggers them. Just a random event.

Yeah, this is again, one of those details GTA has had for quite a long time.

is there an 'impound' or something for the hangars/landing pads? I flew a helicopter down to LS and when i got back a few hours later, it wasn't on the landing pad

Radio in general is super shitty in this game. The in-game Internet is where the funny is at this time around.

Never worked for me but the insurance one does seem to work. Buy some stock then just go on a rampage blowing the shit out of everything in sight. Next morning it should have raised quite a bit.

Blaine County Community Radio for the win. Its too damn good.
So is TV. As far as I can tell there are only two shows. One cartoon making fun of Communism in Hollywood and another making fun of the Power Rangers. Neither of them are very funny, though the art style of the communism one is really nice.
GTA 4 had much better TV and radio.
But that's fine, because GTA 5 just destroys it in every other category.

Well that sucks. There doesn't seem to be any proper way to make millions in this game unlike previous GTA games. Which is quite frustrating given how expensive some of the different properties are.
On this, Rockstar have dropped the ball. No point having a vast post game if there's no credible way to accumulate funds to buy all that extra stuff.
Really the only way is if you use the exploits of Lesters missions by saving them till end game, but that's quite stupid.
The Republican Space Rangers episode is fucking hilarious though and its fully animated this around.
Definitely not as much on TV thats for sure.
What sort of stuff did you buy, and what Insurance company? LSQ or Baswaq?

This bothers me to no end. At least spawn a couple or so, especially when other places like random alleyways or driveways do have cars in them. I don't think it is a streaming problem or anything.
So just beat the game and I must say, Rockstar did a pretty damn good job. Each place felt unique and rich with detail and missions felt varied enough that I constantly found myself wanting to try the next just to see how batshit they would take it.
A couple of negatives though, as I can't say this is perfect. I wish more heists were in the game. This feeling was boosted when you see some of the unused landmarks like the casino that would have been great for a nice score.
Franklin and Trevor seem to miss out on more characterization. I wanted more mission with Frank and Lamar as the whole stretch thing kind of goes out the window until the end. I also feel like they did a horrible job of making me care about Franklin's love interest to the point she is completely irrelevant to me by the end.
Stranger missions and stock meta game could have been fleshed out a bit more and your crew for heists could have been utitlized outside of just the big scores. Chef turned out to be an awesome addition in one mission and the hacker chick is probably the best female character that I barely got to interact with. Also I wanted some more Packie.
Really want to hold judgement until Online hits. Hoping these two weeks gave Rockstar a chance to clean up the shot show that has been interacting with social club. Now I'm just debating starting over from the begging to get a better run and make more loot or just continue getting collectibles and exploring the world....

Yeah the way money is handled is quite poor IMO, and has been since Vice City. They've completely lost the point of properties and the stock market was a bad replacement for actual in game work that got you more, and bigger cash rewards over time. The investments should be the businesses, not actual investments into a half broken stock market that you can only make money on if you know exactly how to cheat it.
And you know something is wrong when the Helicopter Time Trial is harder than the Stunt Plane Trials. WTF is going on here?'
EDIT: Ugh, Gold, finally. Goodbye helicopter, never again until the game forces me to.
Michael's special ability is pretty useless. But then again, so is Michael.

There are two channels each with a different show on at a time, but there are multiple TV shows. Impotent Rage, Fame or Shame, a documentary about Los Santos are ones I've watched.
This depresses me.
Without knowing the ending, I feel like I'd really want Rockstar to do an expansion to this, where you keep these characters and just get even more missions and opportunities, building up empires and bank accounts.
Picked up these yesterday...
Absolutely love them. I know you can get the regular Pulse Elites for a lot less but I'm a sucker for anything GTA branded. In person they're really awesome looking. The sides where the V logo are are actually gloss black instead of the brushed/textured look in that pic. The virtual surround works really well but best of all they're just really convenient. No need to mess with my receiver or in-game settings. It just switches to the headphones when I turn them on.
Is the special GTA5 setting actually working for you? I bought the "normal" Pulse Elite last week and if I put it in the GTA 5 profile (downloaded through the app on the PS3) I get zero pulse and don't notice much surround.
If I use the Game profile instead it works fine... That's weird.
Speaking of pulse, Heist #2 spoiler.
When you're getting chased by the other choppers and you shoot them down. It's the first "whooooaaaa" moment I had with the pulse. I was shooting down the choppers and I could actually feel it on my temples when they crash and hit the ground... It was fucking amazing.

I really enjoyed Trevor as a character, but man I despise him. I was almost considering
killing him end game just because I feel uncomfortable letting such a danger to society live lol.
So you turned michael into zach galafinakis? lol.
I'm pretty pissed off about the garage misfunctions. I've lost an adder and an XF that were both sitting in garages. Reloaded, loaded old saves, and they're still gone. Fix this shit, rockstar..

The 1600 pts pre-order bonus isn't an actual code for the points to redeem on Live. It's a coupon code that you enter on their site to order a physical points card to be mailed to you. No big deal, right? Except the hundreds of thousands of people that likely ordered from there that all get their coupon code at the same time tend to make physical versions of things sell out quickly.
Now I get to wait til God knows when for them to get back in stock only for the next wave of people to snag them up in the blink of an eye. I'm so tired of the shenanigans on that site.
